Q:Are bagged vacuums better when looking at low cost machines?
After making the mistake of buying 2 bagless vacs in the last 10 years, I have decided that my next vacuum will definitely be bagged. The first bagless lasted less than 4 years and I can't find filters anywhere except on-line for the 2nd vac and it would almost be cheaper to just buy a new vacuum than replace the filters.....I will be buying a new bagged vacuum soon.
Q:Can other cleaners be used in rug doctor cleaning vacuum?
I actually used bleach and water in a rug doctor machine. If you have a light colored carpet it works great. my water bed leaked and carpeting was soaked and smelled like mildew, traditional cleaners did nothing but the bleach water was glorious, carpeting looked great and mildew smell was gone.
Q:My vacuum cleaner shoots stuff out the bottom! What's wrong?
Hmm odds are you may have a dirty filter or bag perhaps even a clog while it's normal for things to occasionally be left behind if it's leaving a lot you typically have obstructed airflow, i'm also curious are you using this on a hard floor? i know most uprights are not really made for hard floors as the brushroll will fling things back at ya if this is the case i would suggest getting a bare floor tool
Q:Any opinions on hard floor cleaners (wet/dry) vacuums?
I tried the Floor Mate, didn't do a good job of cleaning (terrible suction) and it leaked water. I bought a scooba...very happy with it. Does a great job on the floors and you can use vinegar and water instead of the clorox cleaner on your wood floors. The only drawback is you have to empty and then refill after 45 mins. Other than that its the greatest invention for a busy Mom like me!
Q:would a vacuum cleaner pick up dust from a rug on the moon?
No. Fluids move from high pressure to low pressure. Vacuum cleaners work by making a lower pressure system inside the vacuum cleaner, but because you cannot make pressure lower than what it is in vacuum (space), so the vacuum cleaners cannot pick anything up, because the pressure is higher than the vacuum of space.
Q:Do you like Sharks? Why.?
I believe sharks are awesome creatures. People have made them out to be villains. People are angry at sharks because they someimes bite but consider the fact that when swimming at the beach were in a shared ecosystem. The sharks were there first so we should respect them. If I was a shark I would probably be angry that 100s of people swim around in my home. Also when sharks bite their not necessarly trying to eat someone. They dont have hands and their fins arent effective in feeling something so they use their teeth. Their just trying to feel and unfortunately it involves their teeth but once again its their turf. Sooooo I love sharks because their beautiful enough said : )
Q:Professional House Cleaners only please suggest a vacuum?
get a majestic filter queen by health-mor out of ohio, you can find one on OKorder for a good price. It is a canister vac but it really is the best vacuum out there
Q:What can anyone tell me about Rainbowsystem Vacuums.?
They are terribly overrated. I would never put that much money in a vac.
Q:Vacuum Question?
They are expensive but I would get a Dyson if I were you. I bought one a few months ago and it is AWESOME! It has a canister that holds the dust and junk the vacuum sucks up. You hold it over the garbage, hit a button and it all falls out. You never have to touch the crap inside ever. It is easy and super clean. I have had every type of vacuum out there including bagless. I hated it cause it made a freaking mess when you went to empty it. There were also a bunch of different filters...I think 3 or 4 that you had to clean and buy all the time. With the Dyson it has a lifetime guarantee (equal to 100 years) and you never have to buy another filter or bag again! They really are worth the $$$!
Q:Someone knocks. You open the door. It's Jesus selling vacuum cleaners. Do you let him in for a demo?
If he can clean a person with blood, then I'm sure he can get the crumbs out of my carpet. I'd let him in.
