- Q:The kind of chairs where they're a bit like a bean bag chair, but filled with scrunchy foam inside rather than beans, and the more you scrunch the foam inside the bigger the chair gets. - If its a floor seat, yes. If its a regular nailed to the ground seat, no.
- Q:(I know this is a stupid question.)I've got these folding chairs. There are 2 rods that meet to form the back of the chair. When unfolded, these 2 rods rest on these 2 plastic parts that are screwed by hand into 2 hollow tubes. The hollow tubes are the top of the chair's back legs.Through regular use, a person leans back in the chair. This action gently sands down the screw-like section of the plastic parts as it rubs against the hollow tube. Eventually, the screw-section is gone, the plastic part stops working and the chair is no longer safe for use.Where can I buy these plastic parts? Do these things have names?

- you will need a chair caster with brake, so you can lock the wheel.
- Q:Hi. I want to attempt to make a murphy chair/sofa , yet do not wish to pay a whole lot of money which I do not have. Any suggestions? I would love to cover the bottoms (the part which is on the outside when folded) with padding, so one could still sit on the floor without difficulty.
- You could make the actual chair seat with scraps of wood and buy a hinge so it will fold up. You could also use an old chair seat.You might have something available at your home. Make sure the piece that is attached to the wall is properly secured to a stud in the wall. Go to Joann Fabric or any similar store and you can get some 2 foam (padding) to put over the seat. I would cover the foam with some fabric and slide it on the seat (like a pillowcase). Buy some fabric adhesive spray and adhere the back to the seat or.....you could use Velcro to keep it snug. You could hand stitch the fabric, if necessary. Be Creative.....You can do it!!!

- chair railing can be inexpensive (relatively) depending on what design you want in it....its pretty easy to install but if you are doing it on your own and are not familiar with how to miter (for the corners you will want to miter) you might want to take a couple of practice stabs on a scrap.....ideally you want a miter saw for this but its not totally necessary (i have used just a circular saw set at the proper degree)....if you get it custom cut at the hardware store then be sure your measurments and angle degrees are accurate because once its cut there is no giving it back, you still have to pay for it, and you still have to buy more to replace it
