Second, change more water and be sure to clean the grqavel well as you go. As a minimum change 25% of the water weekly. If you do that now, increase how much you change up to about 50%. Within a week or two you will see far less algea in the tank and within a month it may be completely gone. You can of course remove the plants and wash them then return them to the tank for faster results. MM

Q:What chemicals/food additives are vegetarians not allowed to eat?: no ! don,t let them talk you into having it flushed. just have a garage to drop the pan and change the fluid and filter. flushing can clog up the valve body then your looking at a lot of money to get it fixed. i saw too many transmissions messed up by someone who had them flushed. i had 1 come to me once that would,nt change gears until i dropped the valve body and cleaned it out.

Q:I want to know why they have so many and are they really necessary. is there a list that says what they are AND their purpose of each one?: the oil will have destroyed all rubbers in the brake system! Dont just flush out system because the wheel cyl,master cyl, and anny weight compensating valves will leak ,if not now they will in the next few days.You will have to get rid of the oil by flushing with methylated spirits,drain as much as possible by undoing all bleeders,re tighten and fill with metho,then drain that out.Do this several times and blow out with compressed air.Then all wheel cylinder rubbers will have to be replaced,also master cylinder rubbersand anything else that has rubber in it.good luck
