Q:Tattoo Ink out of carpet??How can I get Blue tattoo ink out of a green carpet and a grey carpet??: Use hairspray but the kind in an aresol can and dab don't rub, keep using fresh paper towel, I've gotten pen and grease out of coats, carpet etc with it but the trick it to dab and keep using fresh paper towel. Also when you get to just a bit left scrub it with TSP Tri Sodium Phosphate worked for me with chinese red candle spill on my beige carpet, it was aa wool carpet worked really well, with candle paper towel and an iron, ink just paper towel and aresol hairspray. Q:My cat has a bad hairball problem, and whenever the seasons change she'll have barfing episodes almost every day for weeks. Okay here's the part that really boggles my mind:Our house is all hardwood floor, with linoleum in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We have a few throw rugs here and there. Now, out of all the places to puke, she ALWAYS chooses to puke on one of the various throw rugs in the house. One time I saw her retching and I picked her up and put her on the linoleum and she ran back to the throw rug and hurled, refusing to barf on bare floor. I really wish she would barf on the hardwood or the linoleum because then I could just quickly wipe it up instead of having to pre-treat and wash the rugs all the time. Does anyone know why cats prefer puking on carpet vs. bare floor surfaces?: Because cats are smart and lay around on nice soft cushy carpets and unlike mans best friend they don't like cold hard floors. So when they're ready to throw that hairball out, they do it on the nice cushy spot that they're already on.

You might have a carpeter restretch the carpet and see if you can gain enough carpet to cover the area. This might work if the carpet is a few years old. Contact a carpenter to see what they think.
