1.Structure of Galvanized Steel Coil Description

Hot-dip galvanized steel coils are available with a pure zinc coating through the hot-dip galvanizing process. It offers the economy, strength and formability of steel combined with the corrosion resistance of zinc. The hot-dip process is the process by which steel gets coated in layers of zinc to protect against rust. It is especially useful for countless outdoor and industrial applications.

2.Main Features of the Galvanized Steel Coil

• Base material for countless outdoor and industrial applications

• High corrosion resistance

• High strength

• Good formability

• Rust- proof ability

• Good visual effect

Q:Does the factory choke on my rem. 870 handle steel shot?
No problem. With steel shot you would use one choke size LARGER. If you want a full choke type pattern ( 70 % in a 30 inch circle at 30 yards ) you use a modified choke. if you want a modified pattern use the improved cylinder. Don't use the full or extra full. This is because when using lead shot it deforms, and fits through the choke, steel shot does not deform, it remains rigid. The first indication of a problem will be a slight bulge in the barrel right behind the choke. Check that once in a while, if you ever have that problem, it is not drastic if caught early. Today's modern shotguns all have been set up for steel shot. The old ones such as Belgium Brownings, are a no go. Funny thing, when we first began importing steel shot, I asked a Browning Tech guy if he thought I could fire steel out of my Belgium Browning. He said not a good idea, however, if you have the Citori or other Japanese made Brownings, no problem. Hummm, my expensive Brownings, no, but Japanese made OK, this is because the Japanese steel was higher quality. Geeeze. I was shocked.
Q:What is Light gauge steel? is it same with light weight steel?
as a welder i can answere this. wel i think i can after 2 years of classes. so...light guage steel usually referes to the THICKNESS of the metal. also known as SHEET METAL. the only diffrences between light guage and roof truss is that a truss will be thicker metal ex- an i-beam for a structure is usually 1/2inch or 3/8 for smaller buildings. also there is no such thing as light weight steel. steel is steel the only thing that determins its weight is its size/thickness aluminum is a whole nother ballgame. ever see a pound of aluminum vs. a pound of steel? aluminum can be 1/2 or less the weight of steel. but its tensile strength suffers EX. say steel will snap at 70,000 pounds, aluminum will snap at 40,000 pounds, if it even snaps that is! it just tends to bend like rubber. aluminum is handy for many things because it will not rust.
Q:What is the difference between cold rolled strip and cold rolled steel coil?
Single literal explanation, volume and band are different, appearance shape is not the same.
Q:What's the best dishwashing soap for stainless steel?
Jan is correct. You need to have some nickel in the stainless steel to prevent rusting, like 18/10 which has 10% nickel alloy in the steel.
Q:how do they make stainless steel?
ferrous metals rust
Q:A simple question: Corten steel?
Bill summed it up pretty quick and provided a link. For some reason you are focusing on the copper content when it really is insignificant in the overall picture of the sun hitting its surface. If you could elaborate more, maybe we could offer a better answer.
Q:why do you heat steel when hardening?
Metalurgy is a fascinating science which has been used to mark the ages of civilization: the Bronze Age, the Iron Age, etc. Ancient sword makers heated steel until the polished surface showed a straw color (which we now know to be about 550°F, and due to surface oxides) and then plunged the blade into a tank of water. The blade was quickly removed, repolished, and observed closely for heat transfer from the core returning the surface to straw color. If so, it was quenched again. This technique left the surface hard without making the blade brittle. Today the steel crystal lattice is known to be either face centered cubic (iron atoms at the corners of a cube and iron atoms centered in the faces of the cube) or body centered cubic ( iron atoms at the corners of the cube and an iron atom at the geometric center of the cube). Most experienced machinists can estimate the temperature of steel from the color of its surface oxides.
Q:Where to buy silicon steel?
Here okorder.com
Q:wii? red steel?
red okorder.com. I think it deservs a rental
Q:Is mild steel environmentally friendly?
Steel just rusts, it doesn't produce any emissions just sitting there. They even make architectural steel called Corten to rust to a nice patina. If you consider how the steel was made in the first place, a great big NO! Steel making requires massive amounts of electricity plus it gives off some nasty fumes in the liquid state. Leather itself doesn't emit much of anything, but the dyes might. Again though, if you look at how it's made, tanning leather is right up there with steel mills and paper mills for pollution, some of the worst.
