- there isn't a supplement that will do what you are asking... just keep on practicing your bench, and don't neglect your back either! your back stabilizes your body during a heavy bench, so increasing your rowing weight will lead to a higher bench. but remember that bench press doesn't mean jack if you don't know what you are doing on the football field...remember you are training to be better at football, not better at bench pressing. also start squatting instead of leg pressing. most people can leg press a house but can't squat 135...

- 1. Freedom of the press and freedom of speech are pretty closely tied together. Press has been defined by the Supreme Court as any publication that affords a vehicle for information and opinion. Magazines, books, pamphlets, web sites, blogs, TV, anything that is intended to be read or viewed by others. If it doesn't fall under that definition, then it likely falls under free speech. So signs, letters, art work, speeches, things not designed to be viewed as information or opinion. The guarantee is that the GOVERNMENT can't try to control the press. Plenty of other organizations can. Schools, TV networks, libraries, corporations do it all the time. But that's allowed. 2. Make sure that it isn't abused, thus tempting restrictions. 3. An editor has a responsibility to make sure that a story is true in its details, not libelous, doesn't incite riots, isn't on a malicious vendetta against people, and doesn't deliberately expose the subject to danger. 4. Me. I should be the only censor of what I read or watch. But then I'm an adult with a pretty good sense of skepticism.
- Q:I had to press 5 different types of leaves from my yard for part of my science project. I put newspaper, then the leaves, then a little more newspaper, then my english textbook, a dictionary, and a gallon of water. I let it sit for a week. My results:Australian bottle tree, Australian willow, kumquat bush, and lemon tree leaves worked perfectly.But... the ficus leaf (still got flattened and everything) is BROWN!What happened?I need to know ASAP so I know if I should try the ficus again or do a different type of leaf. - Ficus plants are always a problem when pressing. The main reason is that they have latex in their tissues and many of them have relatively thick leaves. Not only do they turn brown (or even black) but the leaves usually drop off the stems. There are a few ways to make good Ficus specimens but the ones I've heard of require alcohol (enough to dip the plants in) and you'd need to be able to apply dry heat to your press for a few days at least. So, if you don't HAVE to have a Ficus, use something else (weed from your lawn would be easiest).

- Q:I wanted to try flower pressing for an art project and after pressing for two weeks, most of them turned out great. Some of the thicker, bigger flowers are still damp though so I was wondering if there's a quick way to dry them out?

- Q:Last week, I was doing military presses incorrectly. I brought the bar down to touch my chest (which was extended outward), rather than around my chin.The neck day, I awoke with neck pain. I thought I may have slept in a bad position, but the pain increased until I could not move my head w/o a lot of pain that day. It's gotten better since then, but I still have pain. It goes from the bottom of the skull on my left, down my neck to my clavicle.Was it really from the military press, and what can I do? I am going to a doctor, but that may be a week or two away.
- In a military press the bar should come down below your chin but it's possible you could have pulled a muscle by doing the press in bad form or got off balance. Might be a pulled/strained trapezius muscle. A good medicine for this type of pain is Naxproxen by prescription or Aleve over the counter.
