Should they be able to? Yes, you don't want everybody knowing everything that is going on, it's not a good idea.

- Because your dryer only has only Permanent press, Medium heat and Low I would use the medium heat to avoid shrinking which is your concern. What I do to save on my electric bill and the ware of the cloths fabrics and shrinking is I have a garment hanger next to my dryer. When my clothes are hot and fluffy and still on the damp side I shake out the clothes and hang them on plastic hanger to finish drying. Then all I have to do is go hang them up and they come out without any wrinkles. Over 50 years of doing laundry. I hope I have been of some help.

- It actually takes less ground coffee to make it in a French Press than in a drip coffeemaker, because you get more out of less--the French press usually holds less water, but you use less ground coffee--and it tastes just as strong as drip coffee (and can be made stronger) by steeping, rather than by using more ground coffee. The longer you steep it, the stronger it gets--and more flavorful. For a 2-cup French press you can use about 3 scoops (2 tbsp coffee measures) of coffee--in a drip maker you would use 4-5 for the same amount of water.
- Q:my shirts say tumble dry low but my dryer only has tumble press. is it the same?
- No, actually it isn't the same. Regular Perm Press it hotter that Perm Press low. I also have the same issue. What I do is, put them on for about 5-10 min on Perm press, then 15-20 min on air. The heat from the regular Perm press stays in the dryer but doesn't keep getting hotter, and the then the air cools it off. Sometimes I go back and forth between the two until it is dried.
