Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:how do you make metal?
Like what someone said, It's a toss up of Rap and Grunge (although im not sure if thats the right word) together. What people missed is that it has a more industrialized feel to it, if it didn't it'd just be limp bizkit, and thats a waste of time. Bands like Slipknot are a good example of nu metal. Korn is something else. It's just freakin' sweet!
Q:Difference between all the metal genres?
1. Meshuggah. 2. Cannibal Corpse. 3. Morbid Angel. 4. Nile. 5. Dying Fetus. 6. Strapping Young Lad. 7. Dismember. 8. Hypocrisy. 9. Septic Flesh. 10. Lamb of God.
Q:Impact of metals and non metals in the living systems?
Ferrous Metals: -------------------- Mild Steel Stainless Steel Carbon Steel Cast Iron Wrought Iron Pig Iron Non Ferrous Metals: -------------------------- Aluminum Zinc Copper Lead Chromium Lithium Vandium Ruthenium Beryllium Titanium Sodium Magnesium Scandium Potassium Calcium Manganese Molybdenum Lanthum Barium Bismuth Cobalt Niobium Nickel Zirconium Gallium Yttrium Rubidium Strontium Cesium Technetium Antimony Osmium Rhodium Indium Palladium Silver Gold Cadmium Thallium Hafnium Mercury (but of course!) Tantanum Tin Platinum Tungsten Iridium Rhenium
Q:What are ferrous metals?
metal will catch on fire in the microwave yes your microwave is probably ruined you should never put any form of metal in the microwave un less the metal comes with the microwave already
Q:Isn't metal just refined earth? ?
-q(metal)= c(calorimeter) x delta T -(2.44)(c metal)(72.5-100) = 1.23)(72.5-25.0) c(metal) = (1.23)(72.5-25.0) / -(2.44)(72.5-100) c(metal) =0.871 J/ g C
Q:Metal vs Rock which do you prefer?
Just okorder.com
Q:Is Kamelot progressive metal, or just power metal band?
Any song from Iron Maiden; King Diamond; Exodus; Primal Fear; Amon Amarth; Iced Earth
Q:Who invented groove metal?
Metals get charged positive by removing electron so the first i.e. Is smaller but when you take more electrons from it you have to give it more energy...
Q:Why is hydrogen found on the reactivity series metals?
Is this a question or have you been huffing diarrhea?
Q:eminence orchestra metal gear solid mp3???!!!?
Metal isn't really made. It exists in nature in the ground. All you do to make it useable is separate it from the other materials in the dirt and rock, usually by melting it down. But that is only to remove the 'impurities' and doesn't change the makeup of the metal itself. Many metals (especially steel) are also combined with other materials to make them stronger, or give them other desired properties.
