 Exfoliated expanded vermiculite introduction :

Vermiculite is a layer-structured metamorphic rock of gibbsite silicate. Rich in magnesium, it comes from hot-liquid-eroded or weathered phlogopite. When it is heated to lose water and expands, lt turns curvingas a leech. Therefore is called vermiculite.lt can be divide into original vermiculite and expanded vermiculite. color it can also be divided into golden vermiculite and white vermiculite.

Exfoliated expanded vermiculite physical and chemical quota :

Being differently hydrated and oxidation, the same vermiculite may have different chemical compositions .Generally, its chemical compositions are as follows:

Vermiculite Chemical quota: Mg x (H2O)(Mg3-x)(ALSiO3O10)(OH2)

Q:What should I give my female leopard gecko to ensure she lays her eggs as safely as possible?
Yes a true garden center would have it but depending on their location the garden centers may be closed because its winter. I would assume they would also have it where you purchased the tarantula or another exotic pet store. I just did a Google search and there are many places selling this online in various size bags. If you have problems finding it locally Google it and order online.
Q:How do I identify the grainy, black insulation in my attic?
it truly is necessary to to take the eggs out at present. They run the probability of drying out or getting trampled. once you're taking the eggs out, be very careful no longer to tilt or shake the eggs. What i do even as my lady lays is i mark the proper of the uncovered element of the egg with a washer-friendly marker so as that i recognize the position the proper of the egg is and so as that i do not tilt it or turn it the incorrect way up by utilizing mistake. Tilting it is going to reason the embryo to break, therefore killing the egg...intently raise them out and position them in a field with moist (no longer moist) vermiculite or soil. Use your thumb to make an imprint on the soil to position each and every egg. each and every egg must be about 0.5 way buried. this may develop the probabilities of your eggs surviving once you're taking them to the puppy save in order to suited incubate them... good success!
Q:Ball python egg questions!?
i would use Vermiculite Fiberglass infused paint to bond with the fiber glass and offer proper heat protection
Q:what can I use for my incubator other than vermiculite, perlite and hatch right?
A--- sphagnum moss will hold the most moisture in the soil. B---Vermiculite and Perlite have no nutrient value so will not creat any runoff. Pine sawdust unless well composted is bad for your garden.
Q:What kind of material can be used instead of vermiculite and perlite in flower cutting?
Peat can retain moisture while peat contains a large amount of humic acids that promote plant rooting. To choose half of humification and rougher peat with coarse sand and large particles of perlite as well. The prepared matrix is conducive to ventilation and drainage, but also conducive to the formation of root.
Q:Growing white button mushroom for first time. What is the best substitute for vermiculite else than perlite?
just add some compost to the planting hole and then top dress the surrounding area with compost , too.... then mulch.... clay soil holds water and hydrangeas love their water.... they are water hogs.... clay soil is actually quite good for them and they have done well in my red clay for 15 years!... you will want to add some lime to keep your soil less acidic if you want the pink to not turn toward blue.... but the plant itself still needs a little acid to be happy, so it's a balance you must reach... just avoid any aluminum sulfate or other aluminums as they're what actually turn the flowers of the mophead hydrangea to blue....
Q:Baby Leopard Gecko?
easiest thing to do is make it all yourself...except the vermiculite. breeding racks are considerably cheap to make if you can get the materials cheap and know how to construct it safely. vermiculity is alot cheaper than many people first assume, many reptile/exotics shops will sell vermiculite as it is a common item for breeders to buy. incubators are something that you can spend over a hundred pounds/dollars on just for the same quality as a home made one. if you do have the money i would recommend getting a top of the range incubator but these are usually expennsive. if not i would say making one is easy and alot cheaper. just have your basic polystyrein box with an openable lid with heat mats inside with thermmostats to make sure the incubator is at the desired temperature. include a couple or small racks/shelves inside so you can stack the containers inside to allow more space for eggs. hope i have helped,
Q:Is vermiculite an organic or mineral matter?
best off using vermiculite or super hatch or something that will absorb and hold moisture better as you don't want to dry your eggs up nor do you want to have to be opening the container too much which you would have to do using sand because you'd be adding water regularly. M.Y.
Q:Reptile breeders ~ Any of you use HatchRite?
