1. Ductile Iron Pipe Description :
It has high strength & hardnes as steel and better corrosin resistance than steerl and grey iron, I ductile iron pipe is the ideal substute for gray cast iron pipe and common steel pipe. In addition, our DI pipes are produced with good straightness, identical wall thickness, high dimension accuracy, smooth surface finished, remarkable mechanical properties and firmly sticking internal & external coating layer as well. Flexible Push-in joint and rubber gasket are used for more convenient installation of pipelines.

- Q:Hi. What are some good foods that are rich in iron? Thanks!
- You have an intermittent connection in the wheel speed sensor wiring harness. Replace it
- Q:Why were iron rations, from WWI, called ‘iron‘?
- despite a lot of research I cannot come up with a published reason - just descriptions of which one is Iron Ration (1907-1922) The first attempt to make an individual ration for issue to soldiers in the field was the iron ration, first introduced in 1907. It consisted of three 3-ounce cakes (made from a concoction of beef boullion powder and parched and cooked wheat), three 1-ounce bars of sweetened chocolate, and packets of salt and pepper that was issued in a sealed tin packet that weighed one pound. It was designed for emergency use when the troops were unable to be supplied with food. It was later discontinued by the adoption of the Reserve Ration but its findings went into the development of the emergency D-ration. I can make suggestions - they came in an iron tin the rations looked like pieces of iron they tasted like iron they were called that to make the soldiers think they contained a lot of iron and would build up their strength
- Q:why does Iron have the properties it has??as much inrformation as possible please10 points thank
- Iron is a metal and as such is made up of a sea of metal cations in a sea of free electrons- metallic bonding. Iron is strong because the metallic bond is a strong bond. Iron is malleable because the cations can rearrange and change positions. Iron has a high melting and boiling point because the metallic bond is a strong bond. Iron is lustrous because of the free electrons. Iron conducts heat and electricity because it has free electrons that can move throughout the structure. Iron is dense because its atoms are packed closely together. Iron is ductile because its atoms can be made to slide over each other.
- Q:if it is why?
- if you mean an iron as in golf club it is good for whomever
- Q:I hear that meteors that hit the earth have lots of iron.and the ancient people used that iron first, when creating stuff. So the moon must have lots of hits.does it have lots of iron on it?
- Malkum has the easy and cheap job. However Steve and Alex repair will be the best looking. I would go with aether for a more professional repair. Good luck.
- Q:Every time I iron one side of a shirt, the other side gets affected and ironing one side causes the other side to wrinkle. How do you iron properly?
- If you're ironing the whole thing at once it generally won't work. Pull the shirt over the end of the ironing board (like the board is wearing it) and that should eliminate wrinkles. Rotate it as needed, and if you spritz it with water that helps even more with helping the shirt stay wrinkle free.
- Q:I need a new iron and want one that isnt too expensive but is good. Which brand would people recommend??? thanks
- I have a Sunbeam with a stainless steel sole plate. I love it. Bought it on sale at Value City, and with my discount that day, paid about $12.00 for it. They were having specials that day. But usually the price is about $36.00.
- Q:i need a bit more information on iron sulphide the compound to describe it. and also iron and sulphur the mixture if you can describe that. the uses of it, properties if have any and any others. websites will be helpful too. Thank you.
- Iron sulphide is a grayish coloured compound formed by the Synthesis of iron and sulphur, when iron fillings and powdered sulphur are heated in a test-tube. It ignites spontaneously in air and evolves hydrogen sulphide gas when dilute hydrochloric acid is poured over it. Its properties are independent of its constituent elements. Iron is black and ferromagnetic in nature and sulphur is a amorphous yellow element whereas iron sulphide is gray, non-magnetic and crystalline. The mixture of Iron and Sulphur is a heterogeneous solid-solid mixture. When dilute Hydrochloric acid is poured over the mixture it would emit hydrogen gas as only Iron reacts and sulphur doesn't. If one heats this mixture in a dry test-tube Iron(II) sulphide would be formed.
- Q:What is the difference between malleable iron and wrought iron? Can malleable iron be made into jewlery? Where can I buy malleable iron?
- Malleable iron is the oldest member of the family of nodular irons. Like all nodular irons, malleable iron exhibits good ductility. Incorrectly considered by some to be an old or dead material, malleable iron still has a legitimate place in the design engineer's toolbar. Malleable is the iron of choice for small castings or castings with thin cross sections (less than .25). Other nodular irons tend to be difficult to produce in these applications. Malleable iron is also preferred for castings seeing duty in low temperature environments since it retains its ductility better than other nodular irons at low temperatures. Used for small castings requiring good tensile strength and the ability to flex without breaking (ductility). Electrical fittings, hand tools, pipe fittings, washers, brackets, fence fittings, power line hardware, farm equipment, mining hardware, and machine parts. Wrought iron is commercially pure iron. In contrast to steel, it has a very low carbon content. It is a fibrous material due to the slag inclusions (a normal constituent). This is also what gives it a grain resembling wood, which is visible when it is etched or bent to the point of failure. Wrought iron is tough, malleable, ductile and easily welded. Examples of items that used to be produced from wrought iron include: rivets, chains, railway couplings, water and steam pipes, raw material for manufacturing of steel, nuts bolts, horse shoe bars, handrails, straps for timber roof trusses, boiler tubes, and ornamental ironwork.
