Q:how did they turn the cells into a polymer for the heart scaffold ?
May have misunderstood. The heart is gently stripped of cells by using a detergent - this leaves the extracelllular matrix - a polymer of collagen - inert and insoluble. New cells (stem cells) will then be added to the structure to repopulate it with living heart muscle which gain coordination and structure from the matrix.
Q:On Wednesday day I'm planning to get this done (the top piercing). I've been thinking about it for a while now really want it.What problems can I have with this piercing? How long does it take to heal ect? Thanks =)
i've not had scaffolding but i've got a wide range of cartilage piercings and they take about 12weeks to heal... i would just say be careful not to catch it and keep it clean. good luck :)
Q:...and I'm not really sure what to expect. I know that everyones healing time and pain tolerence is different but just some personal storys would be nice. And before you say it I am aware that there are risks as there are risks with any piercing. so I'm 17 from London and wondering:How old do you have to be to get it done?Does anyone know a reputable place i can get it done? How much will it be?any experiences to share?
I haven't had this piercing but i was thinking of getting one i do have an eyebrow ring and seven earrings in each ear and i use to have a tongue ring, your piercing cartilidge so it is going to sting shouldnt be too bad though for me my most painful piercing was my fourth earring hurt after that it wasnt too bad my seventh was a breeze i knew how to take care of it so that it would heal fast and not get infected. you have to daily sometimes twice a day clean it otherwise it gets infected and its been my exerpience that they get infected easy. the healing time for when you pierce cartilidge is twice that of when you pierce your lobe so about 8-12 weeks give or take as far as i know you have to be 18 to get one if your in the US (or 17 with parental consent) not sure what the age would be over in London as for reputable place most tatto parlors do piercings look for a clean place that sterlizes everything very important (again going on US standards) as for the cost not sure was 10 dollars for ear piercing at wal mart but for this kind of ear piercing i would guess 20-30 dollars cause its at leadt 50 for a eyebrow or tongue ring i know that. i hope this helps good luck
Q:i got my scaffold piercing 4 days ago and it still hurtsit usually doesn't hurt when nothing touches it, but then with the lightest touch of a finger or anything else, it hurts badly.i just cleaned it with h2Ocean and a q-tip and now it hurts really bad. :|should it not be hurting by now? or is this normal.? if its normal.. how long until it heals/stops hurting like a *****. hah
the industrial take over a year to FULLY heal. and it will be for a while.
Q:Okay so i have one cartilage piercing already.plan a) i just get a scaffold piercing using already the cartilage piercing i haveplan b) i get another cartilage piercing then just wait for a while get a straight titanium barbell and stick it in threw bothI also need help convincing my mom.Help Me Out Please Thnk You
Sorry to rain on your parade, but neither of those plans will work. Scaffold piercings need to be lined up a certain way in your ear, so you can't start with an existing piercing because you can't change your ear to fit what is already pierced. Scaffold piercings also need to heal with a bar in for them to be able to support a bar. You can't just get 2 cartilage piercings and stick a bar through. They won't line up and may not be able to support the extra weight of the bar, and migrate out. Seriously, do some research and wait until you are 16 at least.
Q:Who knows how much the amount of the main material used to take one square metre of conventional double row scaffolding (within 12 meters). For example, how many kilograms of steel pipe, the number of fasteners. The content of the quota is low, I am also very confused, to the completion of the work of the scaffolding rental fees. Very urgent, I hope to know the user to answer. Accident report

Q:Okay, quick question. I dropped into a couple of piercing studios yesterday to inquire about getting a scaffold done. Both places informed me that it's not a good idea to have it pierced with a bar straight off, as the pressure from the jewellery combined with the swelling when first pierced can seriously slow down the healing rate. Is this true? The second place said they will pierce both holes with rings, and these can be changed to a bar after around 6 to 8 weeks. Is this the best option? Thanks for any replies.
That is true, but it's an even worse idea to have an industrial done with rings. This is because your body can move your piercings slightly, to accommodate the angle that works best for your body. In general, that's not a bad thing, but with industrials, it's a problem. You may find that an industrial healed with rings may not accommodate a bar well; the piercing may heal unaligned, and wearing a bar could be painful or impossible. Plus any shop that thinks changing from rings to a bar at 6 to 8 weeks will make any difference from getting a bar initially, you shouldn't trust to poke needles in you. Industrials take 6 months to a year or more to heal. At 8 weeks, the piercings are still very much healing. So if you have your jewelry switched at that point, you'll be irritating the piercing, setting back healing, and you'll have to deal with all of the pressure and hypertrophic scarring problems anyway. It basically comes down to this, industrials suck to heal. Bars are hard to heal. But rings will often result in bad industrial placement and alignment. Just get pierced with a bar and deal with the problems as they come. It's still very much possible to heal an industrial, it just takes time, patience, and a really good piercer (and like I said find a better shop, whoever told you it'd work to change the jewelry from rings to a bar at 8 weeks is an idiot).
Q:How to maintain the scaffold after use
To the current structure of the scaffolding parts rust, rust treatment, where the humidity of the region (greater than 75%) once a year, once a year should be painted once again. Fasteners to oil. Galvanized steel. Where there is no zinc plating, should be cleaned after each use kerosene, oil coated rust.
Q:Standard Specification for bowl buckle scaffold
A new type of scaffold developed in China
Q:i had my scaffold piercing done in the summer holidays and wen i went back to school (currently in my last year) they told me to take it out so i had to go back to the piercer. They changed the bar to two clear retainers in the holes so they wouldn't heal, now it hurts all the time and is red with a bubble on the top of my ear, any suggestions as to what i should do? :/
try drying it out with sea salt soaks, tea tree oil, aspirin paste (crushed aspirin and water) , chamomile tea bag soaks !!! keloids are unpredictable , you can get them anytime from changing the jewelry early, irritation, bumping it on stuff or accidentally yanking it , and they will either stay or go away !!! you can prevent infections by cleaning the piercing regularly with anti bacterial soap and sea salt soaks , making sure to use clean hands when handling the piercing and not letting anyone touch the piercing
