1.Structure of End Suction Centrifugal Pump Description

End Suction Centrifugal Pump complies fully to the European Standard BS EN733 / DIN24255 of performance and dimensions. They are used for pumping clean water or liquids similar to water, achieving wide application on plants, mines, city water supplies, air-conditioning coolers, firefighting system and irrigation. Pumps of the same model have different performance levels basing on different diameter after impeller trimming. Overall the whole series, there are only four sizes of shaft and five of bearing housing. As long as their bearing housings are of the same size, different pumps can interchange chief parts such as shaft, shaft sleeve, shaft seal, impeller nut, etc.

End Suction Centrifugal Pump is also very easy to be installed and maintained. Back pull-out design, driven through flexible coupling, so that pump casing and motor can remain in position while other spare parts are removed.

Q:Ok, so I have a 1997 3.8 liter ford mustang. I was driving home from work the other day, when temp gauge started to go up. I brought it to mechanic, and he said it was a bad water pump, due to bad antifreeze. So I am getting a new pump, and an antifreeze flush. My question is that since it overheated, will there be any damage to the engine? The temperature gauge never hit the red, and smoke never came out. I had to drive it for approx 15-20 miles when it started to overheat, and the temp gauge was bouncing from hot to normal.
All kidding aside, the 3.8 Ford engine was discontinued for a mountain of reasons. When the temperature indicator went into the red zone, you should have shut the motor off and parked the car just like it tells you to do in the glove compartment manual. Lets have a little primer on tour temperature gauge and why the needle was bouncing around: The electrical temperature sensor in one of the cylinder heads is a contact sensor. This means unless it has to touch the coolant all the time it will not send the heat information to the gauge reader on the dash accurately. When the electrical sensor in the cylinder head HAS NO COOLANT TO TOUCH, the dash gauge reads ZERO. In other words the hottest part of the engine was not being cooled all the time. Never drive anything anywhere unless the radiator is filled to the top when the engine is stone cold and the plastic coolant recovery reservoir is at least 3/4 filled when the motor is stone cold.. If the cooling system is leaking as fast as you fill it, TOW the car do not DRIVE IT. Cross your fingers and hope that the valve seats didn't fall out of the cylinder heads.
Q:My boyfriend told me that my car needs a new water pump. He said this because when you start the car, it sounds like trickling water is coming from somewhere in the engine bay. is what it leaking looks green? if it,s green stuff coming out of the weep hole then the water pump is bad. probably the seal and bearing is bad. yes a water pump bearing will have a grinding noise when it,s going bad. slide a big piece of card board under your car before going to bed. then the next morning see where the leak is coming from. the way your saying it, it sounds like the water pump is bad.

Usually whilst a water pump is going dangerous, it starts to leak. There is a small weep gap within the casting so they can drip as soon as the interior seal has began leaking. If that's now not stuck in time, the bearing will fail and the water pump shaft will start to wobble or make a noise. The best different feasible crisis with a waterpump is that if the impeller has damaged or come off the shaft. That maybe difficult to notice with out casting off the pump. The undeniable fact that your engine isn't overheating might have a tendency to rule that out.
Q:All water pump have diferent caracteristics, but it is imposible to overcome a certain hight...what is that hight and why?
It depends on the pump characteristics. It has its suction and discharge head limitations.
Q:do I need to replace it again ? How hard is it to change the water pump? Any Idea where on the internet I can download a free maintenance manual or replacement instructions ?
If it were mine, I'd replace the belt again anyway, coolant can accelerate the wear or advance rotting of the belt. The waterpump is driven off of the timing belt so you'd need to make sure you have it all set up to TDC and all marks aligned before removing the belt. Then just remove the bolts to the water pump, scrape away all old gasket material and install new pump, torque bolts to specs w/ micrometer (in lbs) but before you can do all that, you have to remove all components on the front of the motor. Long story short...let a shop do it for you!!!

The water pump may be leaking causing the coolant loss. But it is certainly not leaking into the engine. You may have misunderstood the mechanic's explanation of the problem. Where is the white smoke coming from? The engine compartment? Then the water pump may actually be leaking coolant into the engine compartment and onto the exhaust manifold. If the white smoke is coming out the exhaust, it's not your water pump. Car repairs are more expensive today because they are more complex and shops prey on the lack of knowledge that car owner's have about their cars. You wil be charged for the VALUE of the repair, not the actual COST (plus a reasonable profit) of repair. You'll pay about 2x-3x the retail price of the water pump than you would have paid if you bought the water pump yourself. Without that water pump, your car is junk. My daughter paid $700+ to have a $149 alternator replaced.
Q:I have a 1986 Camaro and it is overheating. Thermostat was changed and fan is working. When it over heats it doesnt loose any coolant. Hoses are hot. I dont see any white smoke. No milky oil. Car runs good except sluggished going up hills. Dont see any leaks. I have notice that a water pump I replaced 2 years ago is all rusted on the outside. Could that be a bad pump? Why would a water pump rust on the outside?

Q:Our house is situated on very sandy soil. I suspect that my water pump may be getting clogged with sand and silt and other debris. The water flow from the sinks and showers often stops randomly in the middle of the water running only to turn on maybe 30 seconds later. I would still be leaning towards alignment issues are at play here. What I would recommend is putting it on a dyno, not to check the power but so you can see what is happening while the engine is under a power load. I did build an engine once that could not keep belts on, they spun off. I have seen some truly strange things happen. Perhaps the strangest was a thrust bearing allowed to much crank shaft end play and as a result the starter was binding on the flywheel. Yet another was a cam shaft retainer not installed properly allowed the timing chain to snap. Another possibility is the crank damper pulley and not being seated properly.
