Q:i need 2 get my mum a new vacuum cleaner cuz her other one broke.so if ur selling im buying!(well, it depends what type of vacuum it is and if it works.) and if u r not selling them, do u hav any websites i can go on? thanks!
Um Wal-Mart and Target sell good vacuums for under $200.00
Q:I would like to use a Dyson floor tool with my central vacuum system. The system uses a hose with a 1 1/4diameter attachement port. Does anyone know what the inside diameter of a Dyson floor attachment tool is? Or if it will ft a standard vacuum hose?
the Tools from my DC 17 DO fit 1.25 vac hoses but honestly if you are looking for a hard floor tool there are much better ones for cheaper than the Dyson, I would go to your nearest vacuum store and ask about a horsehair floor brush most of them should have one try to get one with a castle cut brush meaning it has small gaps between the brush in the front this will aid in picking up larger particles. If you do decide to go for the dyson one just make sure it's not a canister accesory i know the DC 11s tools are different and don't fit 1.25 hoses
Q:Maybe a new brand of high powered vacuum cleaners? Or perhaps a solution to nuclear waste disposal?
How very Levi Strauss-ian. The Useful Lies and all.
Q:How to clean a portable vacuum cleaner?
To use flannel as filter medium filter, apply cold water cleaning and then dry, must not use hot water wash bubble, also don't dry, otherwise it will plug the pores, affect suction when vacuuming
Q:I have an Intex Ultra Frame pool with filter pump model 635 (1500 gph). Are there any affordable pool vac's that will work with my pool. I was told at the pool store that none of the hoses that come with the common on the market pool vac's will work with my pool. Even Intex makes one but the filter pump must be at least 2000 gph. Please help- I'm tired of using the garden hose type vacuum. Points for best answer!
Intex Above Ground Pool Vacuum
Q:I have low plush carpet, and two cats, one that sheds alot! So I need something that has alot of power. Any suggestions?
I have the Dyson Animal...It works REALLY well! We have 2 cats 1 HUGE dog
Q:Iam supposed to do costing for a modification that we are doing for a hand held vacuum cleaner, the modification is an retractable arm.I want to know how are hand held vacuum cleaners manufactured, (forging, extrusion, injection molding??) What would be the cost??Any help thanks
Look at the hand held vacuums they have in the store. If the housing is plastic, it is a 99.99% chance it is injection molded. If it is made of metal it could be extruded if it has a constant cross section along its length. Aluminum is a very common extrusion metal. I would doubt any high volume hand vac would have a forged housing, but I don't get out that much. Casting and machining is a possibility. As far as costs, it all depends on the life of the tool, and the number of cavities for a mold or a casting. If you mold/cast one part at a time it is much more expensive than two or four or eight. The more you mold at once, the bigger the molding/casting machine and the more expensive the mold/casting. So it depends on how many you want to make in a given amount of time, and how many through the life of the product. Finally, for your modification, do you have a design with drawings and a volume target? That is the first step to figuring out costs.
Q:Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know I can buy a new, high tech(and plastic, foreign made piece of crap)vacuum. However, my Dad worked for Hoover for 40 years and built THIS one over 15 years ago. I've been able to maintain and repair it fine so far, but it's been having trouble with suction. I think the composite material of the fan blades is worn down.
Hey okorder /... Is there any design flaws or anything I should know about this machine? Is it crap? Should I pass on it?
Q:which are the best vacuum cleaners?
For years, I always had Eureka. They are good, but 4 yrs ago, I bought an Oreck and I would not buy any other brand. It is lightweight, is great for allergens and it cleans well. I take it in for maintenance once a year. The first three or four years it is cost free for maintenance. I like the fact that it is self leveling when you go from hard surfaces to carpet. I recommend an Oreck. They may cost a bit more, (varies as to styles,) but to me they are well worth their price. I use my on tile, linoleum, parquet wood flooring, and carpet with ease and efficiency. I've never had my Oreck to kick out any dirt particles to the back of the vacuum as I have had with other uprights. I also have an Oreck cannister/with shoulder strap that is lightweight to use for cleaning upholstery, stairs, baseboards and ceiling fans etc.
Q:I saw this movie once, it is from mid 80's or so and I think it's American - 3 or 4 married women, nearly broke by the end of each month, decide to steal the money from big glass ball, placed in the hall of shopping mall, using the vacuum cleaner. What's the name of the movie? I forgot who starred in it. Thanks.
I think Mad Money but dont trust me I am not sure
