Q:Ha-ha, all jokes aside, this is a serious rug question. What do you call the type of rug that instead of being made out of yarn, is made out of jagged-cut t-shirt material hooked through rug backing? I want one but don't know how to search for it.
jagged rug i have no idea where to find it except make it Urself sorry for the problem of making it Urselft but it is the only way(no realy it's the only way)~_~..... well hoped that help
Q:What's the difference of same material tufted carpet and AXMINSTER carpet?
There are also many options on material. Ake Muenster carpet (the correct name), random pattern, various color. Tufted carpets have fewer colors. But it's cheap and durable, simple pattern. Quality is also good. Luxurious
Q:Our cat who is not declawed, will pick at anything. What carpet would be best in the den?
I think you mean Berber carpet. Why don't you simply go to a carpeting warehouse place and see if they have remnants and get them to bind the edges and then lay it down on the good carpet as a large area rug? I did that one place I lived and it worked out quite well. I also went to a place like Bed Bath and Beyond and looked for large area rugs that they have for kids going into dorm rooms and bought two rugs and laid them over my carpet. They were good for several years and when they got bad I rolled them up and threw them away and unrolled some new ones. I think they ran about $30 per rug.
Q:My landlord recently replaced my nasty old carpet, but this new one isn't that great either. It got flat almost immediately, granted we also have kids, and I want to fluff it back up but I haven't been very successful. I sweep it after I vacuum so I can get it soft and fluffy but it takes ALOT of work and doesn't last for more than a couple of hours. Anybody know how to help?
Your carpet is probably Polyester, made from recycled plastic bottles. It is often times made to look like Nylon carpet, however, it does not stand up to traffic and eventually will not stand up at all. This carpet is fairly inexpensive and therefore attractive to landlords. They are reluctant to have expensive Nylon carpet installed because the chances of it being permanently abused and stained by renters is great. We find quality carpet in only the higher end apartments where the people who can afford the higher rent are normally better educated and easier on the premises as a whole. You, no doubt are a careful renter, however, the law of averages is at work here. Call a carpet cleaner and purchase a grooming rake from them, it may help somewhat.
Q:Dedusting carpet
The best choice is the box carpet, it's very convenient to clean up. It can also be spelled out the area you need in accordance with your own mind. The general carpet has a little bit of dust removal function.
Q:ok my rug burn scar is peeling by itself and the skin under is white should i be worried....will that leave a scar??
As a rule of thumb, rug burns are too shallow to cause scarring. You will probably have some residual redness in the area after it finishes healing, but that is not a scar, and will go away in a few days when replaced by healthy skin tissue. Even if you do get a scar, it will just be flat and the color will fade in a few weeks and it won't be noticeable. It sounds like yours is almost healed, so there's not all that much you can do. Don't scratch it, don't peel away the skin. If it's very itchy you can moisturize.
Q:The best way to carpet deodorant
Carefully sprinkle soda powder on the stand, place for a few hours, use the natural adsorption of soda, absorb the odor.
Q:What is carpet back cloth?
The side fitting with the floor is called carpet back cloth
Q:so in my room i have a carpet which my mother told me that when our apartment was built they sticked the carpet with a special glue... under the carpet there are tiles..... but the glue is stuck to the tiles and i pulled the carpet to see whats happening under it because i really want to remove it because its unhealthy.... and i poored hot water and chlorine on and i took a knife to scratch it and the tiles wallpaper (however the call that thing) disappears and all i see its something black... what is that and what can i do now???? i already ripped a lot my carpet... any suggestions? what is that black thing??? is it the cement of the tiles?
First you do not need to put chlorine in with the water. The black paper ( is that what it looks like?) could just be something that was used to even out the floor's surface. Forget the knives and scratching! Adhesives ( glues) are sometimes soluble with water.. Sometimes with heat - you heat the glue moderately with perhaps a steam iron or a hair dryer, the glue will loosen enough to pry back the carpet. Otherwise- and this is totally out of range of my experience- solvents are sometimes used. I would not recommend using any kind of flammable solvent. Instead of knives find a wide putty knife to help lift the carpet off the tiles, this will get a larger area up off the tiles and will not scrape or gouge the tiles nor is it likely to slip and cut you. And you can get one for a few dollars. Work a little at a time- maybe it will take you a day or two- and wear safety glasses when you pull up the carpet because it is easy to get a small carpet fiber into your eye and it is a pain to get it out!
Q:I do not care if it is offline or online rug store as long as they have good customer service and have good variety and range, free return would be plus.
I okorder / The sales person was very knowlegable and provided free shipping and 30 day hassle free trial. I bought Khal Mohammadi loved it as it matched my Oakwood furniture. Best of Luck selecting yours.
