Product Description:

1.Product Quick Details

Copper Clad Steel Wire is called CCS wire, to high-quality low carbon steel as the core base, by the copper processing of new composite materials, traditional copper wires of the generation of new products are widely used in communication cable conductor, is mainly used for telephone lines, rolling flat.

2.Product Characteristic

It has the strength and toughness of the steel and copper conductive properties, weld ability and corrosion resistance, good high frequency characteristic, with the proportion of light, copper, and low cost. It is a new product of the traditional copper wire widely used in conductive communication cables, mainly used for telephone line, flat rolling.

Q:Will 8 Gauge wire support 50 amps?
usually up to 60amps 8 gauge will be sufficient
Q:Effect of current passing through wires?
a) When the currents through both the wires are in the same direction, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in opposite directions. This will result in attraction between the wires. b) When the currents through both the wires are in the opposite directions, the magnetic field due to each midway between them, by right-hand thumb rule, will be in the same direction. This will result in respulsion between the wires.
Q:amp wiring issues...?
ok man to answer your question NO , it does not matter what color the wire is. what DOES matter is that your using the same brand wire,(just because some 4 gauge wire is bigger than Other 4 gauge wire) and it MUST be the same gauge wire for positive and GROUND. You will also need to run the REMOTE TURN ON wire from the back of the headunit to the REM on the amp. (without this wire the amp does not know to turn on. Next thing is your RCA cables these will run from the back of the headunit to the input on the amplifier. Last thing (OBVIOUS) is the speaker wire both to wire the subs to the correct ohm load and to also run from the speaker terminal cup (if you have one in the sub box) to the amp. * Looking back i think i miss read the question, no the wire color does not matter, just make sure its the same size as the wire from the headunit (not bigger or smaller) so probably around 16-18 gauge wire, color does NOT matter.
Q:Wiring a Hunter Thermostat?
Tell us the wires that you have coming out of the wall and what they hooked to on your old thermostat (red wire from wall to R on old tstat). Also we need to know what type of hunter thermostat you have. With this info someone on here, me included, can get you hooked up for free. Good luck...
Q:my dryer has 3 wires(yellow, white, blue) but my plug has 4 wires(red, white, green, black)which go where?
A little background here. Your dryer is a 220 volt appliance and until recently they had only 3 wires to it, to match the receptacle. Now they seperated the neutral (white) and the ground (green or bare copper) but the two still attach to the same busbar at your electrical power panel. So heres the color schematic you need. Your dryer hot wires are yellow and blue and attach to the red and black wires which are 110 volt hot wires from the panel (together they add up to 220) , the white wires go together as these are your neutral wires which return power to the panel thus completing your circuit, the green or bare copper wire can be attached to the white wires or attached to the metal electrical box if you have one as the equipment box. Your receptacle box may be plastic which then you have no choice but to attach it to the white wires. If you have a electrical meter, it would show 110 volts across either the red/yellow or blue/black wires to either the white or green wires, with 220 volts measuring across the red/yellow and blue/black connections. There is no appliance that runs on 220 volts but rather 2 110 volt circuits, which in a dryer one 110 v circuit runs the timer and lights while the other runs the heating element itself. Be sure to turn off the breaker before attempting and make sure your connections are good and tight or youll have problems. Good luck
Q:Wiring problem?
Pull the lens and look at the bulb. If it is a 2 element bulb then it will work, if it is a single element it will not. If it is a 2 element then one of the wires is turn and stop light and the other is tail light. It will use a body ground in that case. On your trailer harness you will have a brown wire, that is tail lights, the turn and stop light (same wire) will be either green or yellow depending on what side of the trailer you are on. The white wire is ground. The turn and stop light will be much brighter than the tail light so just twist the wires together and see which is which. You can hook the white wire to the mounting screw of the light fixture to be sure you have a good ground.

Q:How would I wire this properly?
Firstly, you only need to use 12gauge 2 wire (plus ground I hope) between the 20 amp circuit and the 15 amp GFI. For the rest you can use 14 gauge wire. It is cheaper and easier to handle/wire. Then the only wiring to watch is the GFI. the rest is standard. At the GFI the only difference is that the white (common) wire is separated by using different terminals for supply and load sides. This is done to give the GFI a reference to compare current flow in the hot and common wires on the load side. That tells the GFI when there is a partial short or leak in the load that could cause different levels of shock. I hope this gives someone a chuckle!
Q:Wrapping copper wires?
It is not how you wrap the wires. It is how you connect them. You should use wire nuts or wire crimpers or splice joints. The tape is melting 'cause you are getting a loose connection and causing sparks. Once you get the wires tight you should cover the joints with electrical tape to keep the wires from touching any thing that they should not be touching..
Q:how to protect attic wiring during insulation in attic?
That must be some OLD wiring. All you can do is be very careful. This would be a good time to consider putting in new wiring.
