Q:My uncle was given a (real) polar bear rug by a little old lady, and it's vintage. We'd like to sell it, but we have no idea where to start. It's incredibly creepy to have this poor dead thing hanging out in your garage. Is it legal to sell it in the US? It does have some damage, it's missing part of a paw, and the nose is a bit sad looking. Otherwise, it's still soft and life-like.

shaw carpet is good carpet 55 oz is great the most important thing is to get the best is a 8lb padding. you can cut cost on carpet but if you use the standard crap padding it wont felt as nice and your carpet will last about half as long as it would using the good padding.

First of all ... does the cat / kitten already have a litter box? If so ... then you should take a hint ... maybe the kitten is passing judgement on your taste in rugs! LOL !!! Anyway...spray with white vinegar, eliminates any prior odor , as well as deterring the cat /dog from going potty there anymore. If you catch the kitty in the act, gently pick him/her up and take him/her to his/her litter box and gently put him/her there. EVERY TIME YOU CATCH him/her. The repetition will there in create a pavlov's dog effect. Vinegar is the best way to deter the cat from *going* on the rug.

Get the same colour as your carpet. That's what I have done. It doesn't really show very much.
