Q:Question about whetstones and honing steels.?
You're not supposed to use the whetstone alone. It leaves a burr, which the steel removes. If you google using a whetstone, you'll see plenty of info. It is possible to use a finer stone in place of the steel.
Q:How to restore rusted stainless steel?
Stainless steel doesn't rust, whatever acid you got on it was some pretty bad stuff to make a reaction like that, you can try sanding down past the reaction point and polish it out but that's about it, that or it wasn't stainless to begin with. if its brushed chrome to simulate stainless it would have to be replated, not cheap. and probably not worth it
Q:What's the best dishwashing soap for stainless steel?
stainless steel does not work in a dish washer.Warm soapy water and dry straight away, they will last forever.
Q:REAL steeled boned corsets?
Hi, There are 3 types of corsets: Fashion corsets, Authentic corsets and Waist training corsets. The fashion corsets are designed for light enclasping of body. They are made with plastics bones usually. The authentic corsets can reduce your waist size about 4 - 5 and the waist training corsets about 6. They both are made with steel spirals and flat bones. The waist training corsets are recommended for experienced wearers only. Look on info pages of the seller. The corsets reinforced with plastic bones are cheap with low durability.
Q:Is clorox safe to clean stainless steel?
Thanks to Yahoo about a year ago, I have the perfect answer for you. Below is the recipe for Tub and Tile Cleaner that I copied off Yahoo and I would never go back to using other cleaners again. Ingredients: 2/3 Cup Baking Soda 1/2 Cup Liquid Soap such as dish soap ( I use Palmolive Anti-bacterial ) 1/2 Cup Water 2 Tablespoons White Vinegar Instructions: Whisk together baking soda, soap, and water until smooth and creamy. Add vinegar and let stand a few minutes to foam. Combine all ingredients until thoroughly blended. Store in an airtight container such as one that margarine comes in. Stir prior to using and it doesn't take very much of it either. Use for tubs, toilets, sinks, counter tops extra. This is an excellent cleaner and environmentally safe. Does a great job and your stainless steel sinks will sparkle! In addition to cleaning so well, white vinegar has anti - bacterial properties therefor, this cleaner also kills germs and your drains will smell fresh and clean also. Happy cleaning!
Q:Is steel industry good for investing currently ?
To be blunt, with the Environmental-Terrorists like Green Peace and The Sierra Club making it basically impossible for Steel Production in the US to be a profitable industry, you are better off investing in Chinese Steel Companies than American. Same goes for Electricity Production and Petroleum Refining... These Environmental Terrorist Organizations and their misguided leftist followers have made it impossible to build new refineries in the US, which is why the price of Diesel Fuel is so much higher than unleaded, which is not only insane since Diesel Fuel actually requires LESS processing to be a viable product but also because our Transportation Industry as a whole relies upon Diesel Fuel to get everything in your home and office from manufacturer to store. By keeping the Energy Industry held hostage to these irresponsible and, to be blunt, insane laws, they have caused a rise in the price of EVERYTHING sold in the United States... From a deck of cards to homes. If we were not basically banned from building new Nuclear Reactors, we could cut our dependance on Coal by at least half... Anything having to do with any industry that could even potentially do with Pollution, regardless of how far advanced the technology has advanced away from that, it is restricted by Eco-Terrorists and mindless sheep that spend too much time listening to propaganda rather than fact checking what their Masters spoon feed them.
Q:What is harder Gold or steel?
steel. it's used to support skyscrapers lol. gold can be molded easily into jewelry. although both gold and steel are both malleable, steel is harder to shape.
Q:shinning ammo with steel wool?
* Yes, but I use both fine steel wool and Liquid Brasso Metal Polish on mine.* You can buy it at any Hardware and I believe Walmart carries it.* Great stuff.*
Q:Is there a good cleaner for stainless steel appliances?
WD40 is great for cleaning stainless steel anything for some reason it protects it from finger prints things so you won't have to clean it as often. WD40 is great for thousands of other uses too, it can remove stickers, dried paint from glass, wipes away crayon wax, lubricates squeeky parts, spray it on your lawnmower or bike before you put it away for winter it'll come out in spring rust free.... so you'll get more than your moneys worth from a small tin.
Q:Best battle-ready katana steel?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Best battle-ready katana steel? I've been looking into battle-ready katanas a lot lately. And I've come across some debates between the best forges and steels to be used for them. The functional katanas I use now are Musashi brand katanas, using 1045 carbon steel. They each cost roughly $200-$250. The straight carbon...
