For example, I would say there is only one machine, but if there is more than one machine, then I would refer to it as machinery. Similarly, if there is more than one bag, then I would refer to it as luggage and, similarly again, if there is a chair, table, couch and bed in one room then I would call it furniture. In more direct answer to your question, if there is only one bag I would just say My bag is over there. Hope this helped.

Q:I would like to start building some home projects and do small crafts, maybe work on some small furniture projects. I would like this to last me a long time.: Delta makes some great tools. Problem with most newer tools is that they went from cast iron tables to aluminum. This causes more vibration since it is lighter. Even a great saw is no better than the cutting tools used on them, so make sure you buy premium blades.. I think you will be very happy for a long time with the Delta.

Q:People who restore old machinery sometimes place rusty items in a large barrel of molasses, the syrup from cane sugar for several months. Explain why they do this?!: Molasses contain glucose, which just so happens to be what's called a 'reducing sugar', that is, it's got an aldehyde group as part of the molecule, and this can lets it act as a reducing agent. Rust, on the other hand, is a sign of iron being oxidised, and makes it difficult to use whatever tool it is that's been rusted. To combat this then, putting rusted tools in molasses for a while lets the glucose get to work reversing the oxidation process and effectively 'un-rusting' the iron, going some way to getting the items back to their former glory.

You must be doubling the distance the piston travels. The time is one second, so effectively you are doubling the speed. Q2 === Jerk in this sense is one of those wonderful descriptive words that works in the real world, but is hard to put into a formula. I wonder if you have to do that. Certainly the force increases because the turn around time is much smaller when the frequency is doubled. That means time in this formula F = m*(vf - vi)/t is much smaller and that makes the force larger. Q3 == So machinery must break down because the force on moving the piston up and down has become much larger.
