Q:I need to put a new quart in about every 2 months. I don‘t see any smoke at startup ordriving, and there‘s no oil stains in the driveway.
Every 2 months is not bad, should be about due for a change near then. How many miles on the car? how many miles everytime you add oil? make and model, and year of car would also help.
Q:What do you need to pay attention to using fuel additives?
Fuel additives have improved engine performance, automatic cleaning of gasoline, fuel injectors, intake valves and oil systems to prevent internal carbon deposition and corrosion and other effects; to maintain good engine conditions, reduce fuel consumption, reduce harmful emissions, extend the engine Service life has a supporting role.
Q:I was wanting to know if trans fluid additives really help make the trans run smoother and better.if so what are some good brands I should be looking for.I have a automatic trans on a 1986 Ford F150
it will surely help provided there is nothing wrong with the inner workings, oil additives have always been questionable as a repair, both tranny and engine keep in mind that if the problem is a loss of frictional material, clutch or band the repair is obviously to replace the offending member, I have seen where an erratic shifting transmission has been temporarily helped by adding a transmission conditioner if a transmission is shifting erratically because of a sticking valve in the valve body and a check of the fluid shows dirty discolored fluid, the first check in any questionable performance question, if fluid doesn't pass the correct level, color,or smell test an internal repair is needed don't add a conditioner and procrastinate you are inviting major trouble! there's no such thing as a mechanic in a can!, consult you vehicle owners manual if available on checking fluid level,or an auto repair manual, available at most auto parts stores, in my mind oil conditioners in most cases are fine if used as a maintenance item, but cannot ad worn engine or transmission parts, remember that many uncommon noises emitted by your engine, differential or tranny are harbingers of needed mechanical repairs the severity being up to your interactionif that tranny is an AOD get it to a transmission shop
Q:I am actually trying to dye my hair purple. I just bought Chi Purple Color Additive and Chi Dark Ash Ash Blonde dye with 10 Volume Chi Color Generator. I currently have long ombre hair, light/medium brown near the roots and blonde at the tips. I prefer not to make my hair darker, and I prefer not to bleach it. Does anyone know how it would turn out if I mixed the Dark Ash Ash Blonde and the purple additive?
I dont realize what to say but, long curly hair is cute but you keep moving your hair up so you can easily see, short hair is cool and also you dont have to flick your current hair up at all
Q:the bottle is 32oz. The only instructors it says is:Cetane Boost 32 oz. Treats3 Numbers.100 gallons6 Numbers.50 gallonsWhat is the difference between 3 and 6 numbers? My tank is 22 gallons. So I should bring it to almost empty, and then put how much of this stuff in before I fill the tank?My car also had this weird problem of the engine turning off when idle (radio stayed on). A guy suggested to me could be water deposits in the fuel tank. I got this cheap stuff called Heet, gas-line antifreeze water remover. The guy told me to put the bottle in the tnak before I fill it up for the next two fill-ups.On the back it says ‘do not use with 2-cycvle gas or diesel engines, use Iso-HEET instead - what is 2-cycle?my car 1991 mercedes 350 sdl. Thanks appreciate any help_)
Have you noticed that an Owners Manual to every Mercedes car says: Do not use fuel additives, they do not do anything and may damage the engine. I tend to agree. There are additives for every problem. If they worked, we would never had to FIX cars.
Q:Baking powder is not a food additive
Is, but in general relatively safe and healthy, for example, we generally use baking soda class, if it is too high uric acid patients also eat more baking soda foods such as soda face
Q:lucas oil additive?
Lisa, As a last resort. I used Lucas transmission additive and it fixed a slight shifting problem. I am still driving that car with lucas in the tranny. The additive was a last resort, as I had a replacement. If I did use an oil additive, I would add it, run 1000 miles, do an oil change. Use factory recommended oil grade and see if that makes a difference
Q:What are the additives in the milk?
I drink is bright gifted milk, do not know if there is no additives
Q:what is the additive inverse of 1 over a? 1 _ a
The additive inverse or opposite of 1/a is -1/a.
Q:i just need to know these two!you‘ll get best answer! 2.5-4 3/5thanks
Well, go back to the definition: What do you add to 2.5 to get zero? x + 2.5 0 What do you multiply by to get one? x * 2.5 1 Solve those, and there's your first pair of answers. Do the same for the second one. If you have a calculator, there's an even easier way: the +/- button does additive inverse; the 1/x button does multiplicative inverse.
