what I did before i took my exam.. i wrote 500 resumes..that I was interested in working as an assistant........I took all 500 resumes to each real estate office nearby and put a resume in each realtors mailbox.. i got 2 replies immediately and worked out some hours with 2 busy high producing realtors.. i was then able to decide if this was the position I wanted or not...... a friend of mine did the same thing..(a very very well educated lady)......and she was hired immediately..and did mostly spell checking for a high producer.. you get to see the job personally then...........and decide if that is what you want......

Q:I'm 20 years old and a junior in college, my dad told me that most real estate investors that have become millionaires didn't go to college. How true is this, is it really that easy to get a loan and invest in real estate? And is it more possible for any person who makes the effort or only few people have that special talent?I would definitely love to work for my self.
It is easy money but if you learn about it then apply it. Know what property can bring in cash flow, but sometimes don't even think about the cash. Build relationships with your clients. Try getting a real estate license or take your test, they will train you. But although you don't need a license to flip homes, a lot of company still teaches you. Like keller williams, Berkshire, coldwellbanker. I am a sophomore in college, im doing the same thing you're doing. 1. It depends on the situation. If you appoint the real estate agent to sell your property you can get it free of charge, because it will be included into the commission that is agreed upon. 2. An employee who works for an Estate Agent do not need an Estate Agent License, but an Agents Representative License is a must. An Agents Representative License is between $600-$750. If you wish to open up your own Estate Agent office you need to have an Estate Agent Licence. An Estate Agent License is between $3,500 - $6,500 The employee have to pay for the license.

No. An agent is an agent and a broker is a broker. If as a Broker you want to work for another Broker, it is called Broker Associate. Remember, a real estate agent must be employed by a Broker to be in compliance.

Your spouse is 100% correct. If it's a straight forward transaction, then do that. No point stretching the budget to give a commission to your agent. Your agent already made a commission from selling your home. It's a business transaction. Stop viewing this from the friendship perspective and think business. If this were some random agent, would you be thinking this? Of course not! Your friend will understand. I have helped many friends with their home purchase questions when they use other agents! Why? Because they're my friends not because I like making money; but because I like them as people! It'd be a different story if you're saying your friend found you this lot, did all this work and you're trying to screw him. It doesn't matter if you're an attorney. Make sure you have the assistance of a real estate attorney in doing this transaction or offer your friend a small commission for doing the contract (since you already found the lot and the builder).

The bank will loan money to a buyer so she can buy the house. The bank will loan a percentage of the value. 80%, 90%, 95%, 96.5%. They need to get a value so they send out an appraiser to tell them what the house is worth. The appraiser finds 3 nearby houses that sold recently. Then adjusts for the size and condition of those houses.
Q:Hi, My listing on Yahoo Real Estate shows up on the search, but when you click on the picture of the listing the link does not lead to the details page. It leads to this message "Sorry, the page you requested was not found." So, no one can see my listing detail or contact info. Yahoo okorder to get your listing fixed. The Help Desk is busy since there are so many other problems happening at the same time. Keep track of the number of days that your listing is not clickable. You can ask for a refund of your payment. You personally can not fix the problem.
Q:I see prices are being driven up by investors buying houses 20 or 30 thousand dollars over the fair price of the home. In my area I see prices have gone up like 60K in 2 years and with all the ghost inventory I get the feeling this can't be good. I just looked at a house last week and I see the estimate on every real estate website is like 30K under what the sellers are asking for it. Now if this home sells for that or even higher is just going to drive the price up for all other properties in the area, it's insane!
As long as an investor can buy a house and rent it for enough to pay the mortgage and upkeep then the market is healthy. In my area that is true. The online value estimators are not accurate at all- they are just for fun. To get a real estimate of value an appraiser or real estate agent would have to walk thru the house and yard- take into account the location and compare it to sales over the last six months that are very similar. In my area we have had a very weak market for several years and this current time seems to be a partial catch up as buyers that have delayed buying are rushing in before prices and interest rates take a jump. As always most buyers are way to late.
