FAQ

Q: Could you give me a brief introduction of your company and products?

A: CNBM is the abbreviation of China National Building Material Group Corp, a State-owned corporation under the jurisdiction of National Central Government of China, and we own over 200 subsidiaries and factories. We are an important external business platform of CNBM Group. Now we have several manufacturing bases in China, with capacity of 220MW, and products ranged from c-Si to a-Si panels which are certified by authorized laboratories, for example TUV,VDE and UL.

Q: What price for each watt?

A: It depends on the quantity, delivery date and payment terms, generally Large Quantity and Low Price

Q: What is your size for each module? Can you tell me the Parameter of your module?

A: We have different series of panels in different output, both c-Si and a-Si. Please take the specification sheet for your reference.

Q: Can you provide the peripheral products of the solar panels, such as the battery, controller, and inverter? If so, can you tell me how do they match each other?

A: Actually we are only manufacturer of solar panels, but we could try to source them for you in China if you need. We could provide you an optimal system design to instruct you how to install.

Q:What is the cost of installing solar panels?
The cost of installing solar panels can vary depending on various factors such as the size of the installation, location, type of panels, and additional equipment needed. On average, a residential solar panel system can cost anywhere between $10,000 to $30,000 or more. However, it's important to note that there may be potential tax incentives, rebates, and financing options available, which can help offset the upfront costs and make solar panel installations more affordable.
Q:I have tried researching on the internet and just cant find any real answer. I know that the amount of electricity produced when taking in the suns rays depends on the placement of the solar panels but I am just looking for ball park figures. Thanks
Ultimately it depends on your utility and the country you're in. In countries like Germany, Spain and the UK, the utilities will pay a higher price for the power you produce then what they sell it to you at. Otherwise, in countries that don't have such arrangements, net metering is best where what you produce is discounted from the amount you buy per month therefore so long as you produce less than you use, you get the full retail rate, otherwise you may get only half the retail rate with some utilities. Obviously, the solar panels are rated and won't produce much more than the rated power, a 4 foot by 2 foot panel would usually be rated at 00 watts but in most situations will produce about 80 watts and would probably cost about $500 US installed. If you assume 8 hours of usable sunshine a day, 70% sunny days, a 25 year service life, monthly billing and 0 cents a kilo watt hour retail rate, you can expect at most a -.67% per annum return on your investment, that's a negative sign out front. Basically without any subsidies, you will lose money on the panel, sure you're get some money every month, about $.34 per month for that 00 watt panel but it won't make back it's money at at a rate of 0.0 per kwh. With subsidies it might be a good investment but it's still not a good deal without subsidies.
Q:Say if i had a 2KW system is thtat just one big solar panel or does the whole system have little solarpanels together.?
Solar panels are arrays of individual solar cells connected in series and parallel, and.. A high quality, monocrystalline silicon solar cell, at 25 °C cell temperature, may produce 0.60 volts open-circuit (Voc). The cell temperature in full sunlight, even with 25 °C air temperature, will probably be close to 45 °C, reducing the open-circuit voltage to 0.55 volts per cell. The voltage drops modestly, with this type of cell, until the short-circuit current is approached (Isc).
Q:Are solar panels a good investment?
Yes, solar panels are a good investment. They offer long-term financial benefits through reduced electricity bills, potential tax incentives, and increased property value. Additionally, they contribute to a cleaner environment by reducing carbon emissions and dependence on fossil fuels.
Q:Can solar panels be installed on an agricultural greenhouse or nursery?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on an agricultural greenhouse or nursery. Installing solar panels on these structures can help offset energy costs and reduce reliance on traditional power sources. Additionally, it can contribute to sustainability efforts by harnessing renewable energy and reducing carbon emissions.
Q:Can solar panels withstand extreme weather conditions?
Yes, solar panels are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions such as high winds, heavy snowfall, and hailstorms. They are made with durable materials and undergo rigorous testing to ensure their resilience.
Q:When you consider that solar panels will not produce enough electricity in their service life to cover their cost should we subsidize them anyway? that much of the cost of a solar panel is the energy to manufacture, install, transport and maintain them. Shouldn't the market determine whether they are worth installing? Is subsidizing them taking money away from research that could be spent on more viable alternatives?Should we be taxed to pay for others solar panels when they don't work?
Yes, okorder /... Bottom line is that government subsidies encourage people to buy solar panels, and make it possible for many who could otherwise not afford it. The more solar panels are purchased, the more the price will go down, and the more quickly the technology will be able to advance.
Q:How do solar panels affect the insurance premiums of a home?
Solar panels can potentially have a positive impact on home insurance premiums. While the initial installation cost of solar panels may increase the value of a home, they can also lower the risk of fire damage and reduce reliance on the grid. As a result, some insurance companies offer discounts or special policies for homes with solar panels, which may lead to lower insurance premiums in the long run. However, it is important to consult with individual insurance providers as policies can vary.
Q:Can solar panels be installed on a restaurant or food establishment?
Yes, solar panels can be installed on a restaurant or food establishment. In fact, many restaurants and food establishments have already embraced solar energy as a sustainable and cost-effective solution to power their operations. Installing solar panels can help reduce energy expenses, lower carbon footprint, and showcase the establishment's commitment to environmental responsibility.
Q:Ok Im trying to power my room using solar panels and I've figure out that I need about 700 watts to do so, but I really only use my electronics at night. I was wondering if I could buy lets say a 200 watt solar panel and let it charge a battery all day would that work? I live in southern california so I dont have to worry to much about cloudy days. also any suggestions on where to buy a panel, inverter, charge regulator, and battery?
You would probably need several batteries. 700 watts means about 40 Amps from a 2 volt battery. That is a lot of current. You need to loot at how may watt-hours you need. And how many amp-hours for the batteries.
