Q:DO i TWIST THE WHITE AND RED SMALL WIRES TOGETHER UNDER THE WIRE NUTS ON AC WIRING TO THE CONDENSER?
There will be two wires in the unit. The low voltage wires (white and red) attach one to each of the wires in the control box on the unit. There will be a wiring diagram on the inside of the ac unit access panel. Shut the power off first. Also, after you hook them back up, it may still not work. It is possible that the control fuse blew on the indoor unit. For a step by step troubleshooting guide, check out my source.
Q:i am trying to wire my aftermarket tailight, and it did not come with the plug in adapter as the original. The three wires coming out of it are glued together in a bell type casing. Pls Help!!
The wire that is hooked to the tail light BODY is the ground wire. One wire goes to the brake light switch and the other one goes to the tail light hot wire. With a test light you can determine where each one is to be hooked to.
Q:Besides the speaker wires, what do the remaining 5 colored wires stand for on a stock 03 Mitsubishi Galant radio?

Q:I'm looking to install a ceiling fan in a fixture that recently had just a light (no idea if it ever had a fan). When I removed the old light, I found that there were three white wires from the ceiling twisted together and connected to the white wire on the light fixture, one black wire from the ceiling connected to the black wire on the fixture, and three black and one white ceiling wires just capped together, not connected to the light fixture.Any idea what the last 4 wires are? I would think that I just need to leave them alone, however, I have to replace the box in the ceiling with one that is rated for a fan, which means I need to (temporarily) disconnect them. I have the breaker turned off that turned the light off, but can I be 100% sure that power to those other 4 wires if also off?
The three white wires are your neutral wires. the one black wire connected to your fixture is the wire coming from your switch. The white wire connected to the black wires are the hot wires. That one white wire connected to the black wires carries the electricity to the switch then feeds it back to the fixture on the single black wire. I never trust wire until I check it for voltage, even with a breaker off.
Q:Stereo wire digram
you mean cutlass? i would recomend getting a wire harness from a audio store but here is the diagram Car Radio Constant 12V+ Wire: Orange (memory) Car Radio Ignition Switched 12V+ Wire: Yellow Car Radio Ground Wire: Black Car Stereo Illumination Wire: Gray Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Brown Car Stereo Antenna Trigger Wire: Pink Car Stereo Amplifier Trigger Wire: N/A Front Speakers Size: 3 1/2″ Front Speakers Location: Dash Left Front Speaker Wire (+): Tan Left Front Speaker Wire (-): Gray Right Front Speaker Wire (+): Light Green Right Front Speaker Wire (-): Dark Green Rear Speakers Size: 4″ Speakers x 10″ Rear Speakers Location: Rear Deck Left Rear Speaker Wire (+): Brown Left Rear Speaker Wire (-): Yellow Right Rear Speaker Wire (+): Dark Blue Right Rear Speaker Wire (-): Light Blue

Bard Air Conditioner
Q:Wiring together 200 + different colored LEDs. Voltage per LED ranges from 2.5 - 3.6. What is the best way to go about wiring them together and what type of power source should i use?
how the hell should i know?
Q:just bought a brinks indoor motion sensor switch and having problems installing. the regular light switch has 2 black wires that was connected to one end and a red to the other. the white wires in the wall are already together. the motion sensor switch has black, blue, red wires and its ground wire. the instructions says not to use the red wire for single switch so confused on how to wire them.
Hey j! Here's what you need to do: Shut off power at breaker box. Connect two blacks in box together with a wire nut. Cap red in box with a wire nut. Turn on power at breaker and carefully check which wire nut is hot. Turn breaker back off and hook hot wire(s) to black( incoming hot/line) on new switch Capped wire(s) that wasn't hot ( outgoing/load/switched leg)to blue wire on switch, Hook up ground, and cap red wire on switch. Install switch in box and turn breaker on. You are all set Mark If you have additional questions, update your question and I will check back and update my answer.
Q:let me start off with I am not an electrician I just do basic stuff for side work I came in the project at the end. The lady wanted me to wire in 6 receptacles, a light switch and light fixture all on one circuit. everything is good except for the receptacle at the start of the circuit it has the lead/ hot coming in the power to the other receptacles going out and the power to the light going out (3 groups, 9 wires total). normally I would have used a junction box but I didn't pull the wire. How can I wire this. Would a 15 amp receptacle work?
A 15 Amp receptacle will work, of course, but the receptacle box is most likely already overfilled. So in order to keep the wire count down, your best way to go is to buy a receptacle that uses screw down connector tabs. (NOT the kind that you have to put the wire under the screw, but the kind that you insert the wire into the back and then turn the screw down to clamp onto it!) The receptacle is a little more money but it would be worth the expense to make this hook up work. Hot wire (Black): Connect all three black wires to the back of the receptacle on the brass colored screws. Common wire (White): Connect all three white wires to the back of the receptacle on the silver colored screw. Ground: make a short pigtail of bare copper wire (about 6 or 7 inches long). Then connect the pigtail to the other 3 bare copper ground wires using a wire nut. Then connect the other end of the pigtail to the grounding connection of the receptacle. MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF WHEN YOU DO ALL OF THIS SO THAT YOU CAN LIVE TO TELL THE TALE! :-)
Q:HiI want to cover a large section of a wall at home with wire. There is a plug socket (electrical outlet) in the wall. How can I ensure that I do not drill into electrical wiring within the wall? Is there some way to scan a wall to locate the wires? Thanks.
You want to cover a wall with wire? Just kidding, i figured out what you were trying to say. There are good answers here already. Just be sure you are putting screws into the studs only and you will be fine. What are you covering with? Sheetrock? Wood? The glue idea sounds good too, depending on what you are putting on the wall. Again...i dont know how to cover a wall with wire. I guess if you are an artist. LOL Good luck
