- I would personally buy the Athlon with an AM3+ motherboard. The Athlon actually outperforms the FX. However, you should still consider the FX 4100. It's a good idea to invest in new tech.

- Blatantly so, a single core of that Core i5 is more powerful than two of AMD's best processor cores, and those aren't AMD's best either.
