Q:I have a Netgear router and just now when I tried to plug the power cable back into the back of it, it would fit. I look more closely and it seems that the metal end of the power cable may be slightly bent. But I'm still confused because it's bent at the end of the metal, and even though the very tip of it isn't bent, that part still won't even slide into place a little. Could anyone help me in resolving this issue?
If it is the correct adapter for the router and it fitted before, gently force it and it will comfortably fit eventually. There is probably a reason it doesn't fit now (it has been pulled out with some force) so I would suggest getting a new power adapter for it if the above does not work
Q:I lost my power cable for my Ipod Shuffle 2nd Gen, can I use the 3rd gen shiffle power cord for the 2nd gen? My logic: $55 for a new ipod 3rd gen or $30 for a new power adapter for the 2nd gen. $25 more I have a new ipod... but it would be nice if I can still use the 2nd gen as well...

Q:I need 300 ft. of service entrance cable and I've been told I need 4 guage 3 wire 200 amp aluminum is what I need but I'm wondering if this 1 guage overhead line would work just as well if buried in 2electrical pvc conduit for 300 ft.
This query has been asked alot of times. Easily since there is no voltage change along the fowl. We could say the cable has 10000V. At one claw(contact) it's 10000V and at the other leg (the other contact) is 10000V. In view that there is not any voltage change, a current will not drift to kill the chicken. Its similar to two related containers of water with both of equal water degree. Water is not going to waft from one container. Except the chook touches one other object of one-of-a-kind voltage lets' say the ground with 0V. 10000V is doing work by way of pushing a current through the hen inflicting a current and potentially killing the chicken. Hope this helps.
Q:Hi all, I'm moving into a new apartment August 1, and I'm wondering how far in advance I need to call the power company, cable company, etc to set up service. I know this is probably a dumb question, but throughout college I moved into apartments where at least one of the other roommates was staying (I took over someone's lease who was moving out, but the other girls stayed so I was the only new resident). But I'm moving into a one bedroom, and I've never had to set these things up before so I just thought I'd ask what the standard time frame is. Is a month enough advance notice--should I start setting this stuff up in early July? Or sooner? Again, I know this is probably dumb but I have no experience so I wanted to ask some people who've been there and done that what the procedure is. Thanks in advance!
10-14 days should be enough notice for the utility companies... I typically call at least 10 days prior to my move date to schedule the utilities to be turned on.
Q:Hi,I have just bought a jasper xbox and i know this as it says ''12V, 12,1A'' on the back yet my power cable says ''12V, 16,5A''.I thought that the jasper xbox requires a specific power connector which wont fit the other types. Mine seems to fit fine, so have i got something wrong here? Cheers
i don't know if somethings wrong with your xbox or power brick but i can tell u tho, if u use a Xenon power brick (12V,16,5A) on a jasper xbox u will run into a problem later on, for it will overheat and the CPU and GPU will warp and pull there self away from the motherboard, if u have ever heard of the towel trick( wrapping your xbox in a towel so it will overheat and the solder will pool up and re-solder the CPU/GPU back in place) that's where it come from, i would buy a jasper power brick if i were u (12V, 12,1A).
Q:I am installing a sound system in my car straight from scratch. I have built the subwoofer enclosure but now I have run into a problem. The existing amplifier power cable is too short to reach my amp. I was wondering if any other cable could be used as a substitute to extend it just a few more inches or do I need to buy a whole new amp kit? Thanks
you okorder /... and a fuse to fit that will work and be cheaper than buying new wires.you can go to walmart and find the fuse holder for cheaper that is just an example of what to look for.
Q:are the power cable for the super nintendo and nintendo 64 the same?
No the power cable is not the same. The video cable is the same though. It's the same for SNES, N64 and the Gamecube
Q:Why do phone lines stay on when other lines power and cable will go out during a storm?
PHOne lines stay on when the power lines and cable go out during a storm because they are battery powered and the batteries are recharged by emergency generators.
Q:hi i need to connect a extra cd rom drive to my computer and dont have enough 4 pin power cables in my computer how would i get those and how would i install those. Thanks
These are called Y-Cable. Buy one. Remove the power cable from the old cdrom. Attach it to the newly purchased cable. Now you get 2 new points. Attach one to old cdrom and other to the new cdrom.
Q:is it possible to run a 2-wire AC power cable (2x2.5mm2 or thicker) from the telephone junction box to the inside of the house instead of using an ordinary thin phone cable? will that affect the voice quality or maybe an ADSL setup? the distance is approximately 50 meters.thanks a lot.
Your phone wire in your house may be 'twisted pair' but the majority of a phone line and drop to your house is just a pair of copper wires, side by side. The resistance should not be a problem for you, so give it a try.
