Q:I am planning on buying new power and ground cables for my car system. How much would it cost for 4gauge wire? and how much would a fuse for that cost? -my system is about 1000w
when okorder
Q:I have a power adapter that changes the tip of a power cable from the US standard to the Spain standard. My laptop has 3 prongs and the adapter accepts 2. It fits into it, but the 3rd prong just rests outside. I know the voltage over there is twice as strong, so will this work correctly?
NO! You will have no grounded electricity and will blow the inverter on your laptop in which case it will be useless. Do NOT even attempt this. Spend the $20-$30 and save yourself the trouble.
Q:Big god speed to ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ much needed
Can be buried, the general depth of 0.8 meters, the cable on the road to be added through the road.
Q:I have just bought the above SSD product and don't know what connection I need for power, I have a SATA cable but the other long slot doesn't fit any of my power adapters, what do I need?
You should have a cable sticking out of your power supply that will fit. Otherwise you have to use something like this:
Q:I just plugged a 300V power cable into power supply that accepts 115-240V then turned on the power supply. The power supply was not connected to the motherboard. I don't have another cable so I can't really check if its still working nor do I want to try again with the 300V cord if it can potentially cause damage.
Just because the cord is rated 300V does not mean that you would get 300V from it. That just needs to have at least as high of a voltage rating that you would be putting through it. What matters is what is the AC voltage of the wall outlet you would be plugging it into?
Q:I have had my Sony Laptop for about 2-3years. And only recently is it acting weird. When I have my power plugged in, the laptop runs fine and can be on as long as the power cable is in. But as soon as I take my power cable out, it automatically shuts down.I checked the power management, and it says my battery has 0% power. I have tried taking the battery out and putting it back in, but it still does not work. The lights on my laptop indicate it is charging, but it does not put any power into my battery and the only way it can run is if my power cable is plugged in. The battery is pretty much dead :/Is there any solutions to this? Considering I bought it in the UK and now live in the US
You should go to a computer store and get a new battery, this happened to one of my friends, or you can google what type of computer you have and it will bring up tons of stuff! Good luck
Q:im having probelms with the end piece that goes into the computer, and it needs to be replaced.
if you are a do it yourself guy try to get the plug at a electronic shop like Radio Shack and replaced yourself that will be the least expensive option, most adapters had the cable attached to the power supply so the next option will be to replace the power supply that will cost at least 60 dollars also try OKorder sometimes you get parts very cheap there.
Q:Just wondering if the eVGA GT 440 graphics/video card needs a power cable connect from the psu to it.I bought a PC pre-made from JB HI-FI and going to upgrade my graphics card. The one I have currently is the Radeon HD 4650 and it appears to have no cable connecting to it. There are however, some cables connecting to the motherboard near it.
No, it doesn't need one, but it's also a crappy purchase. The Radeon 6670 costs about the same, doesn't require external power, and slaps the GT 440 silly.
Q:I was just wondering because I need a new power supply for my computer. It is an Acer Aspire AM3910-U4012. Is the power cable that connects to the motherboard the only power cable I need to replace or will I need to replace all the cables in my computer for it to work properly?
It will come with All New Cables
Q:even though it lights, its not so bright. its little dim but cpu is not at all turning on, its silent...
Do you mean the CPU fan? Is the PC booting? Sounds like the PSU. Try swapping the PSU or buying new one(they are not dear)
