AAC (All Aluminum Conductor)

1. Application: Used in overhead electric power transmission and distribution lines with

various voltage levels.

2. Standard: We can supply this conductor according to different recognized standards,

such as IEC61089, BS215,ASTM B231, CSA C49, DIN480201, JIS C3109, customers'

special specification also can be satisfied.

3. Features:

3.1. Under the same weight, AAC is with higher DC resistance and lower cost than copper

conductor.

3.2. AAC conductor has been widely used in power transmission lines with various voltage

levels, because it has such good characteristics as simple, convenient installation and

maintenance, low cost, and large transmission capacity. Moreover, it is also suitable for

laying across rivers, valleys and the places where special geographical features exist.

(Without exploding) just wondering thanks!: no sir it will not, infact it may completly stop the problem, i would say to much current is passing through the wire, if the amp will accept the wire (even if its a tight fit) thats what your looking for. so to answer your question using the 680 watt wiring kit is just what you need and will be perfect, you could even get the 1200 watt wiring kit if need be, (assumikng you bought the schosche kit from walmart)

(2) A 'brick-and-mortar' store, like Fry's -- bring your existing cable, and they will match it, at a price that will probably be lower than Compaq's online price; and (3) OKorder -- which will probably have the lowest price, but you will have to be careful about security. Will i end up blowing up my CPU??: The cable only supplies as much current as the device draws. The rating is the safe value for that cable. If you use a lower rated cable for a high current device, it could overheat and set your house on fire. By the way, the CPU (box) part of the computer usually uses more power that the monitor, it should have the cable with the higher rating.

Is the pc a laptop? if so it gets the 5 amp. is the the pc a full tower gamer ? then it gets the 10 anp .Same with the monitor is to a old monitor or a new flat screen with powerstar ? See what I mean. It best to call your monitor manufacture or pc to get the right answer. it should not make a big difference but with the cost of a new PC do not take chances.
