Q:Ever time I try screwing in my power cable sparks fly.My amp has no off switch.and my car is turned off.wtf?Help me out/
disconnect the battery dumbass
Q:It's the newest ps2 (the thin ps2) I have all cables. Except the power cable isn't the official power cable. Is that a problem?
It's impossible to tell if it's your PS2 or the cable. Best bet is you buy an original PS2 power cable and try it out. If the PS2 still doesn't power up, it's something wrong with your PS2 and you will have to get it repaired or buy a new one.
Q:How high voltage armored power cable is grounded
Insulated isolation of the double shield control cable is the outermost armor layer should be grounded at both ends, the inner shield one end of the ground, is conducive to the rapid release of induced current.
Q:I have bought a 1.5 ton window AC from Blue Star recently and used 2.5 sq mm cable to power it through a 16A DP MCB.Can the load be supported in this scenario?
I asked this same question 3 times, and didn't get a good answer
Q:Can anyone help? my pc wont turn on without them hooked up.
You will need to look up the motherboard manufacturer to find the pinout for the cabling. That would be the fastest way. or you could use a small flat screw driver to short the pins until you find the right combo...the latter could result in damaging your mainboard but not likely. You will need to look at the original case plug if possible. HP/Compaq do not list the pinout nor is it written on the board. all it it listed as is HPanel1.
Q:I am looking to replace a broken power cable for my DigiTech RP1000 guitar effects board, but I am curious as to whether I need to find a cable specifically for this device, or if I can look up any cable with an output of 9V AC; 1.3 Amps.
Flexible cables for use at low voltage e.g. for mains adaptors and speakers, are probably good for at least 100 volts. They are usually rated for current, and are well over-engineered, so anything rated from 1 amp up will work fine. I wouldn't use a cable rated for more than, say 3 amps because there will be more chance of a thicker cable shorting out in the plug - there isn't a lot of space between the terminals.
Q:Lets say in the CD-ROM, there's a song. And I want to play it but the CD-ROM's data cable isn't connected to the Motherboard. So even though the song can be played, I can't hear the music being played?* The Sata Power Cable is attached to the power supply *
The power cable will just power up the CD drive but NO music goes to motherboard and its sound port. Even just connecting the small audio connector between the CD drive and motherboard will produce sound output. Connecting the data cable to motherboard enables Windows to read and play the music files.
Q:I have a 2003 Honda Accord. I'm trying to put an amp and sub in it. My problem is, I'm not sure how to get the power cable from the batter to the inside of the car. I know it needs to go through the firewall, but I need to know exactly where. I couldn't find any unoccupied holes. I also need to know where the other side of the hole will be so that I can grab the wire from the other side. Pictures would be really great if you have them.
The simplest way to run a wire through the firewall is to look for a rubber grommet where the steering column, brake pedal rod, clutch pedal, etc. go through. You can make a small slit here, or slide the wire along side this component.
Q:Where to plug the power cable wich includes in HIS Radeon 3850? And it so short , cant imagine where it will go.. plz someone help me..
they Plug into a molex connetion on your PSU(power unit) its the samething that connects to your CD-rom and Hard drives but be forewarned the 3850 needs a 500watt PSU to run right or you will burn it out
Q:I have a Maxtor 3200 and I accidentally plug in the wrong power cable for it. I saw the light flicker on then off. I realized my mistake and tried to plug it in its correct cable but now it won't turn on at all. I figure that the wrong cable must of forced too much energy through it. I have a lot of important files on there. I know that fixing it won't be cheap, I fully realize that. However, is there any hope of retrieving my files at all?
You mean the wrong power supply, not just cable... If you fried it, you are in trouble. Take it to a repair shop and ask them what to do.
