Attentions in transportation and storage :

1:PPGI should be stored in neat and tidy environment to avoid possible corrosion caused by all kinds of corrasive medium.

2:The ground for storage should be flat, without hard object, and with sufficient loading-bearing capacity.

3:Storage environment should be dry and ventilated. Avoiding storing outdoors or with dew or with wide temp difference.

4:Coil could not be dragged lest the burr caused by slicing will scratch the coil surface underneath. Coil should be handled with care, without hitting any hard objects.

Q:I need help! Please help, I'm in Chemistry, and me and my friend Lucy are making a presentation on steel and iron, so how is steel manufactured? Thank you. :D
The steel consists of ( Iron ) and another matter... but the popular one is iron+carbon / iron+silver - When iron is smelted from its ore by commercial processes, it contains more carbon than is desirable. To become steel, it must be melted and reprocessed to reduce the carbon to the correct amount, at which point other elements can be added. This liquid is then continuously cast into long slabs or cast into ingots. Approximately 96% of steel is continuously cast, while only 4% is produced as cast steel ingots. The ingots are then heated in a soaking pit and hot rolled into slabs, blooms, or billets. Slabs are hot or cold rolled into sheet metal or plates. Billets are hot or cold rolled into bars, rods, and wire. Blooms are hot or cold rolled into structural steel, such as I-beams and rails. In modern foundries these processes often occur in one assembly line, with ore coming in and finished steel coming out. Sometimes after a steel's final rolling it is heat treated for strength, however this is relatively rare.
Q:What is steel made of and what is its molecular weight? It's for a project in chemistry class so if you have a website link as well, that would be great!
Steel is an alloy consisting mostly of iron with a little Carbon thrown in. Steel is not a molecule, therefore, it does not have a molecular weight. Steel contains atoms of iron and carbon in a crystal lattice, along with various other alloying elements such as manganese, chromium, vanadium, and tungsten.
Q:How are steel coils used in the manufacturing of agricultural irrigation systems?
Steel coils are used in the manufacturing of agricultural irrigation systems as they are shaped and formed into pipes, tubes, or other components that are essential for transporting water from the source to the fields. The coils provide strength, durability, and corrosion resistance, ensuring that the irrigation system can withstand the harsh agricultural environment and last for a long time.
Q:I just got a set of all-clad Stainless steel frying pans, they are very nice yet they didn't come w/ instructions to care for them. I have never cooked w/ stainless steel cookware so I really don't know much about them. I was told they should have a lifetime warranty on them, but I don't want to reck them. I would appreciate any information I can get on stainless steel cookware. Thanks.
Here's what All Clad has to say: Cleaning Cleaning the Stainless Steel Interior: Immerse in warm water. Use a fine powder cleanser with water to form a paste. Apply paste using a soft cloth. Rub in a circular motion from the center outward. Wash in hot, soapy water, dry immediately. DO NOT USE oven cleaners or cleansers with chlorine bleach. DO NOT USE steel wool. Cleaning the Steel Stainless Exterior: The polished stainless steel exterior of All-Clad Stainless requires very little care. It may be polished with one of the available commercial stainless steel cleaners, rubbing in a circular motion. Rinse in lukewarm water. We do not recommend using steel wool, steel scouring pads or harsh detergents. Nylon scrubbing pads are safe to use. You may wash Stainless in the dishwasher. The cleaners that they're talking about here are: Soft Scrub Bon Ami Barkeeper's Friend Those are the LEAST abrasive and won't harm your pans.....look for them in the cleaning aisle of your supermarket......How do you like your All Clad, BTW?? Just wondering......Enjoy!! Christopher

Q:im buying a new guitar,, it has a built in tuner and its semi acoustic (can be plugged into an amplifier) ,, im trying to choose which strings are better ,, steel or nylon..?
You need to decide which type of strings you prefer BEFORE you select a guitar. Guitars are designed for one or the other types of string and they aren't interchangeable. If you try to put steel strings on a classical guitar. you'll ruin the guitar because it isn't built to withstand the extra tension that steel strings have. If you put nylon strings on a steel stringed guitar, the strings won't have enough tension to vibrate the top...resulting in low volume and horrible tone. To decide which type of guitar you need, ask yourself what genre of music you expect to be playing the most. Nylon stringed (classical) guitars have a rich full tone and are primarily for playing classical, flamenco, or folk music. Steel stringed guitars have a full but twangy tone and are primarily used for rock, pop, blues, and country music. You can play any genre of music on either style guitar, but it will sound more authentic if you match the music to the guitar. Best of luck to you, whichever style you choose.
Q:I am thinking of buying a stainless steel necklace, but I need to know if it will discolor. My brothers ring turned brown, but he forgot what kind of metal it was. Also answer if I can wear it in the shower because I wear my other necklace in it.
First check if the Stainless Steel is solid or just some base metal plated with SS. SS has many SAE steel grades(304,316,316L,etc) but in general most will not rust if you do not immerse in sea/salt water over long period. Some can tone to grey over time but IMO that will only add more aesthetic value to the necklace. Yes, you can shower wearing SS because sometimes I also do that wearing my SS dive watches.
Q:The guy at this one pawn shop told me that stainless steel is better because it is just as strong and will not rust. The guy at the other pawn shop said that you need high carbon steel for a good sword because stainless steel breaks easily and that damascis is the best kind of steel for swords.
You are gonna want carbon steel. Most real swords are always made from carbon steel. The vast majority of cheap swords being sold online are made from stainless steel. While stainless steel is a great choice for knives, it starts becoming very brittle on anything longer than 12? and is NOT a suitable material for a functional sword, no matter what some marketers might claim?. Stainless steel when it comes to a functioning weapon, is a joke. It's not made to cut and it's not made to last.
Q:What is the cost of a steel coil?
The cost of a steel coil can vary depending on several factors such as the type of steel, size, weight, and market conditions. It is best to contact a steel supplier or manufacturer for an accurate and up-to-date price quote.
Q:i want to know what is light gauge steel and the diffrences between light gauge steel and steel for roof truss.
as a welder i can answere this. wel i think i can after 2 years of classes. so...light guage steel usually referes to the THICKNESS of the metal. also known as SHEET METAL. the only diffrences between light guage and roof truss is that a truss will be thicker metal ex- an i-beam for a structure is usually 1/2inch or 3/8 for smaller buildings. also there is no such thing as light weight steel. steel is steel the only thing that determins its weight is its size/thickness aluminum is a whole nother ballgame. ever see a pound of aluminum vs. a pound of steel? aluminum can be 1/2 or less the weight of steel. but its tensile strength suffers EX. say steel will snap at 70,000 pounds, aluminum will snap at 40,000 pounds, if it even snaps that is! it just tends to bend like rubber. aluminum is handy for many things because it will not rust.
