Q:Hello,I recently bought a kotatsu and I really need some help. The power cable is of course Japanese And I need some type of converter. On the part of the cable that plugs into the radiotaor it says:PSE (It's in some square box)JET MR7A 250VOn the end that plugs into the wall it says:PSE (It's in some square box)JET MR7A 125VI''m not sure if a simple small converter to let me put the Japanese cable into my wall is enough, I think I need something extra to make sure nothing goes into flames.Inside the Japanese instruction manual I found some info However, I'm not really sure if it is related to the power supply or notAC100V 50-60Hz400W3.1 (Probably the length of the cable) 1.3 (Same here I think)140Wh 60 Wh55C 37CPlease help me, what should I get to be able to use the cable in Europe. Any links at all will be helpfulThanks.
Don't worry too much about what the cord says. Worry about the power requirements on the appliance label, and making sure you are feeding it with the voltage required, with a capacity within the range. In your instance, you will need a converter transformer that converts your outlet voltage to 100V, and has 550 or larger watt capacity.
Q:I have my Clearwire modem but have lost the power cable. Does anyone know what I would look for in a replacement power cable.
check the Clearwire URL .. Support tab
Q:Big god speed to ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ much needed
According to the total amount of household electricity to calculate the main line with how much, if the maximum load of more than 7 kilowatts, with 6 square BV or BVR line, no more than 4 square, branch kitchen socket with 2.. light line with .05-1.5 are Yes, air conditioning hang up 2.5 enough, Guiji take green 4 square
Q:for any SATA 2 HDD, the power connector is longer. compared to the data transfer cable. wht is it so?,-------------- ,------the first set of lines represent the power connector second; the data connection cable.
The sata power connector provides 3.3, 5v and 12v as well as two ground connections (in between the 3.3 and 5 and 5 and 12) I believe. Anyway, for the power connectors, a single pin has a maximum rating of 1.5A or so, and so they provide three pins if a device needs needs more current.
Q:My setup is an alpine MRX-M100 powering 2 alpine type R 12's on 4 ohm, and also an old eclipse PA 5422 speaker amp. The main thing is I have 4 gauge running from my battery to my amps, but I have this sort of distribution block that turns the 4 gauge wire into 2 8 gauge wires. I know that this probably isn't the best for the MRX-M100, but it's all I had or what I could afford at the time. The main thing I wanted to ask was is this bad for the amp, and what would it be like if I had 0 gauge coming off the battery so then it would be 4 gauge going to the amps? Would it be louder? Could I turn it up higher? because right now if I turn up the volume past a certain point the subs will just stop playing. If I just shut off my head unit and turn it back on they start up again. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated!
The thicker the cable the more power you can get to the amp...
Q:Power cable inspection, how many meters should be sampled?
meaning: ZR represents the flame retardant properties YJ said cross-linked polyethylene insulation V said PVC jacket ZR-YJV table red copper core XLPE insulated PVC sheathed power cable 4 * 70 + 1 * 35 said 4 core 70mm2 + 1 core 35mm2
Q:I am getting a new gaming computer for Christmas with a 700 watt, 12.5 AMP (I think) power supply. I have two power cords for computers on my shelf, but my dad is worried that a standard power cable won't properly power my computer. Do I need to get a more powerful cable? If so, please send a link to where I can buy one, I have been searching but only found standard ones. Thank you.
To point out some erros in the above posts, it's important to realize that the power rating you provided is a realistic one. 700W is telling me that's probably the normal operating wattage, but 12.5A is possible during startup of the unit. This rating is important, as the cables and wires within the extension cables or power bar must be able to support this current, even if momentary. Power bars will all have a set amperage rating that needs to be clearly listed on the unit in order to be legally sold in Canada. Check the rated voltage of your cables to ensure your power bar can support your machine. At 12.5A you are dangerously close to the circuit max of 15A. The standard house circuit is typically rated between 15 and 20A. This means that if you were to plug in your computer, speakers, and an second monitor you are seriously risking tripping your circuit breaker for that circuit in your house. Every plug in your home is not on it's own circuit either. Typically one or two rooms worth of power receptacles will share one circuit. Be careful and pay close attention to your power consumption on that circuit. Power loss is as harmfull and in some cases MORE harmful than power surge. Largely because there is no protection agains sudden voltage drop like there is for voltage surge. They both do essentially the same thing to your computer -- fry it.
Q:Yjv22 what is the core of the cable? Copper core or aluminum core?
sure. Take the ground pipe is to be from the floor under the brick. But the late completion of the drawing to be accurate, so that the next time to repair the line can not find the location. Want to answer to help you.
Q:i have a SATA hard disk and i connected it with a sata power cable and recently i bought a sata optical drive and i have no power cable for connecting the drive, so i decided to connect it with the power cable of hard disk(I have two sata hard disk)
You might want to get these at a local computer shop though or you'll pay more for shipping than you will for the wire itself. I would suggest the 1 SATA to 3 SATA seeings as we already know you have SATA power connectors.
Q:Can a PoE powered cause a surge if I connect it to a Gigabit ethernet port?PoE Switch --gt; UTP cable --gt; Non-poe Gigabit Ethernet Switch
No, the PoE switch will initiate the connection with a low voltage signal to determine if the device at the other supports PoE or not. If not, it doesn't apply a current.
