Q:I have eight speaker wires, I can figure that out on my own. I also have a red/blue stripe, black/red stripe, black/white stripe, and blue. Which ones are the power wires?

you will need a DVM, to find what is what. Check the fuse box, and make sure the fuse is good, and search for the constant power.Set the meter to 20V. I like to stick the ground on my meter, in the ignition where the key goes. Then find the switched, key on wire. obviously, you'll have to move the ground on the meter for that. Don't forget to solder and use heat shrink tubing, or red and blue butt connectors, and heat shrink, or tape them well. Then set the meter to ohms, or the omega pic on the meter. once you find a resistance for each speaker, pop it with a 9V battery, not a AA, as both terminals are on top. then when you hear which speaker pops, wire it accordingly. Q:You have been given two samples of wire: one nichrome, one aluminum. Describe a procedure you could use to determine which sample was nichrome and which was aluminum

first, knowing the resistance of each wire (i dont know it, you need to look it up) i would set up a circuit to put out [X] amt of current (the amt of the lowest resistance in the wires) and run the current thru the wires to a light bulb. if the bulb doesnt light, you now have figured out that this is the wire with the most resistance (again i dont know which has a higher one) for clarification- aluminum resistance = X nichrome resistance = y circuit with current EQUAL to resistance of the lowest wire (for example if X was lowest with 3 ohms, you would set the current to however many amps/volts are required to overcome that) and then connect it to a bulb. when its turned on, if the bulb doesnt light, you have determined that it isnt wire X but wire Y. even more simply, just list the wires by their resistance. if X=3 ohms, Y= 4 ohms, and the bulb doesnt light at 3, you have determined that its wire Y. im assuimng you would have the resistance of the wires? this is how i would do it, but if thats the right way? i dunno. but it is one way.

It is a wire without a tube. It works properly, it has a larger section than the usual wires, but is cheaper (Al is cheaper than Cu).

Q:for standard electric wiring, do I cut the white wire or the black wire to not get shocked?

either cut the breaker or use a wire tester. Never assume that it is wired properly or you may get shocked

Keep in mind the sensor has a signal wire, a ground wire and a heater wire (or wires). Good luck!

Q:Why do some vehicles have more than one starter wire at the ignition switch?

one for the solenoid and a second for the distributor. the one for the solenoid is only active in the crank position where as the other is any time the key is in the run position or crank.

Q:I heard that Japanese could load a low voltage without any wires in one direction for 1 meter! Of course 1 meter is nothing. But can we get rid of wires in next 50 or 100 years?

I don't think it would be possible for long distance. Too much energy would be lost. More likely all wires will be underground, or better yet, all homes and buildings would have their own power source, such as roof mounted wind turbines or solar panels.

Q:The 1992 camry wiring diagram comes up to about 19 wires, my stock stereo that I unplugged from the back on the harness has about 14, and it has 3 black wires 2 brow, 2 green and 2 red, the others only have one wire, why is this?
