Q:I lost these cables in a move so I'm looking to buy a replacement USB cable and the Power Adapter and cord. What cables do I need, and where can I buy them? :(
I okorder - they have a nice selection, and their prices are great. If you want to be sure you're ordering the right cable, you can give them a call beforehand or click on the Live Chat feature on their site. I found mine by searching 'universal power cord' in the search box. Hope this helps :)
Q:I've got a 1994 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 1.8 and I can't find any place to put the amp cable through the firewall! Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ;).
If your car is an automatic, you can go through the plug that seals the hole where the clutch would be. If you have a clutch, you will need to drill a hole in the firewall if there are no other available plugs.
Q:I don't know what the cable is specifically called, so I am having no luck finding it. I just keep finding adapters. Am I able to buy a replacement?
The power cable? Power cables don't come with the graphics card, they come with the power supply. Maybe you mean the cord that connects to your monitor? Common ones are DVI, VGA, and HDMI.
Q:I have my friends PC at my house to change a few components but apparently the PC doesn't work properly. I insert the power connectors ( 20 and 4 pin connectors ) into the motherboard, plug the power cable into the PSU and when i turn the power button on the PSU the computer will start but do nothing. It never worked like that before, i always used the power button from the computer to turn it off and on. And this happened just after i changed a PSU. Now the old Power Supply doesn't work either. Is there any way to stop the computer from turning itself on ?
Something is broken. Likely the motherboard, but could be the PSU.
Q:i have 2 xbox 360s; one german one american, only problem is my american one(110 volts) has lost its power cable, now i thought why not just use the german (220 volt) power cable; but im afraid that might blow up the cable or whatever, any suggestions??
right, the power outage would be too high
Q:I have recently decided to scrap my capacitor and need and extra two feet of power cable in order for it to reach the amp....is it possible to splice and join two power cables together or is it a better idea to rewire with a longer cord?
The only way to properly splice the cable is to solder the cable to another piece of cable the same size. The best insulator is brush on tape , just make sure whatever you choose to use, it is sufficiently wrapped. There should minimal power loss if care is taken to make the connection well. However, the best way would be to run a new cable. But considering the trouble this may pose, a quality spice may be the best choice.
Q:Need the cable you plug into your outlet and it's plugged into the back of your power supply on your computer. My computer is for gaming and is very modern so I need one that wont melt and can handle everything. Anyone know of anywebsites that I can order a high quality one from?
all you need is a bog standard power lead. The power unsit runs off mains voltages so a 500W supply uses only 2A (ish) (if on a 220V system) and 4A if on 110 (approx)
Q:What is the difference between wires and cables? Please provide a brief introduction
Customers want what you should have, others do not you should have. Shop to people-oriented.
Q:The Power cable of my guitar amp (roland cube 20x) was under my computer chair leg and when i sat down the fuse triped in the power box then when i checked under me the cable was almost cut across.. How can i fix this or where would i get it fixed?
It would work But it is a good idea to have separate cables using each one for a specific job. Buy a cable for each job. Label it near the plug for the amp. That way you are always using exactly the same set up every time. When things go wrong and they will, you wil know which cable and which amp or guitar is having the problem. I have been on stage when it took 10 minutes to find that the wrong instrument had accidentally been plugged into the wrong amp or pedal.
Q:I have 2 subs and a amp, I have a hi/low converter so it will be able to work. I hooked it all up properly and i noticed i have a empty space on my amp. Its the power control cable. I have no idea how to hook this up to my FACTORY deck. Do i hook it up to the antenna? PLEASE HELP I NEED A ANSWER NOW please thanks-
continuously flow with a smart harness which you would be able to get at radioshack..you'll be able to need an antenna adapter. fool data way and defintitely quite certainly worth the money because it makes it a cinch to place in in sprint or flow reason you do not could decrease your production unit wires....
