I know plastic wrap will work, but this is plastic sheet, and is much better,stronger and will still let light in correct? - Likely yes. The fuser element inside the printer does get hot, and will likely melt plastic. They do make plastic sheets that can withstand the heat, but they would be specifically marked Safe for laser printers.
