- I think I have the same charger as you. The 2A output charges much faster - the 1A, a slower trickle. For you to use THAT much power, you must have a lot of things running in the background that are just plain wasteful. Go to Settings, and knock out things that are not needed all the time.

- The power company likely has sold the old debt to a collection agency and it remains on your credit report. But you the memory of your past debt will be remembered and will require you to pay a deposit with the power company to receive service. This is not such a bad deal because they power company will pay you interest on your deposit at a higher rate than your could find with a certificate of deposit at a bank now a days. - Most credit unions are only for a certain group of people. You have to work for a certain employer, work in a certain industry, etc. Not just anyone can open an account at any credit union. Another drawback is that the services offered by credit unions are not as sophisticated as with big banks. I do a HUGE amount of banking and transfers online. Most credit unions are not set up for that. Lastly, LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Most credit unions only have 1-4 branches. So finding one that is close to where you live and work AND that you qualify to be a member of it VERY tricky.
