Q:Power cable casing buried what are the requirements
1 It is advisable to select the route to lay the cable in a suitable way: 1 Avoid the area where the corrosion of the acid, alkali, or stray current is seriously affected by electrochemical corrosion
Q:I'm about to order everything to put a new sound system in my Jeep Wrangler and I've been planning the locations to run new wires and cables. I got to looking at the area's where I could run the power cable for the amp and have come to 2 conclusions. I could either drill a hole in a very difficult to reach but hidden area behind the dash and try to hide the cable on the interior of the Jeep all the way to the rear where the amp is.. or, I could run the cable inside the hollow frame rails (which have many pre-drilled holes to slip the cable in and out of) under the Jeep and then just drill a hole to the interior in an easy to reach location near the amp. My only concern is that the cable's insulation will breakdown and crack prematurely due to exposure to water and road salts.. is this a real risk if I run the cable on the exterior of the vehicle? Or will the cable hold up just as well as any other cable such as those in the engine compartment? Thanks for your help!

Q:keep in mind this is a 6 yr old machine, the old roms connected the old way, I don't even know the name of the old cables.....

Q:My Xbox 360's power supply cord is very loosely connected. I've tried to push it with force, didn't go further. Games lag a bit (GTA IV, for example) at graphically expensive situations. Simplier games like Limbo and Worms run without any problems. I think my console suffers from voltage drop because cable isn't properly connected.Power cord looked like this already when I connected my console for the first time. Now my Xbox 360 S is only couple of days old. Please tell me what your consoles look like. Power supply's light is also orange. Not yellow, not red - orange.
It's not possible to drop voltage as you said. It's either connected, or it's not. The power won't wain. It just won't work at all if not properly inserted. But if the power cord won't seat properly in a brand new console, you're still under warranty. I'd get it replaced if I were you..
Q:I got two hard drives. The cable connecting the hard drive has 2 connectors, does it matter which connector goes to the master drive and which goes to the slave drive? same question regarding the power supply. 2 connectors on the power cable, the order matters?
Master HDD connects to the end of the ribbon cable. Slave drive connects to the mid-connector. It is best to connect master to the power connector closest to power supply (less wire resistance).
Q:I have this printer, bought for $100 at Best Buy a few years ago... I moved almost 2 years ago, and seemingly have lost one or more of the cords associated with this printer. Im trying to find out which one is missing. I have the one which connects the printer to the computer [USB]. But I dont have the one that gives it power... It looks like the end would fit into a 3 hole [prong?] opening, the holes are all in line... Anyone got an ideas? Know what Im talking about? If so, any idea what its called, or where I can find one? Im sure online, but I havent any idea what Im looking for at this point.
Hi okorder /
Q:I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
There's 2 types of power connectors, old style 4-pin Molex and Sata power. Adapters are pretty cheap, just check Monoprice.
Q:Printer is powered on cables are securely connected printer has ink and paper printer is installed as network printer on all clients computers and other users are able to print to the printer except me? what should i do so i can print
This sort of problem can happen with networks. Assuming the network has been set up correctly you can try a few things. It might be the sequence of switching things on and logging on. Try logging onto your computer AFTER printer is switched on. Also you can try not logging onto the network - I have had that work as well. I had 2 computers on a network that were always temperamental. Also check there are not too many users on the network, the printer can count as one user.
Q:I have a 2003 Honda Accord. I'm trying to put an amp and sub in it. My problem is, I'm not sure how to get the power cable from the batter to the inside of the car. I know it needs to go through the firewall, but I need to know exactly where. I couldn't find any unoccupied holes. I also need to know where the other side of the hole will be so that I can grab the wire from the other side. Pictures would be really great if you have them.
The best place to run a wire through the firewall is through the firewall connector. Take the firewall connector apart, and look for an empty connection port. Take your power supply wire and hook it up to the engine compartment side, then take another wire (to lead to the radio), and hook it up top the corresponding port in the interior side of the connector. This will be the best way to make your connection. If you can't do this, then drill a hole in the firewall, install a grommet to protect the wires from the firewall. Again, the firewall connector will be your best bet, and people will be asking where did you take it to get it installed. This is how a professional would do it.
Q:the contant power cables go to my car alarm, led lights, siren, power locks, power windows, and alarm bypass... they are very small thin awg wires... the ignition and constant power cables under ignition housing are alot thicker... is this possible with no problems?
confident, you're able to do this. make beneficial each and every capability twine has its own fuse close to the battery. Addressing the different solutions: this won't drain the battery any quicker than working a single twine to a distribution block; and there isn't any might desire to characteristic a 2d battery except you intend to play the gadget for long classes without the engine working.
