Q:we have recently purchased some plant machinery such as back hoes front loaders and excavators, should have they come with a title or do we need to get one and how
I am not aware of a title for this type equipment. Normally you keep a copy of the machines serial numbers and bill of sale.
Q:then who will pick it?
If that would happen we would gladly pick it ourselves. If our forefathers would have foreseen the future they would have left the blacks in Africa way back when and picked their own cotton too.
Q:Survey: What is your favourite thing to do whilst operating heavy machinery?
I actually drive a digger and I sing a lot when the engine is revving loud enough that no one can hear me
Q:Name2activitieswhereitis necessaryto reducefriction [in machinery] betweenmovingparts &tellhowwecouldreduceit.
1. Bearings - you need to reduce the heat so you lubricate with oil. 2. Shaft holders - heat again and oil again - usually one of the materials is softer than the other so it wears quicker, usually the cheaper of the two materials. Sometimes the parts are coated to reduce friction.
Q:I'll concede that Micro Machines have been proven. We've all seen the commercial with that fast-talking guy, but nobody has ever been able to talk slowly enough to prove Macro Machines to me.
As a staunch Luddite I believe that machine operators are the tool of SATAN sent here to trick us.
Q:Ready to study in Australia, intends to emigrate is learning mechanical engineering or electronic engineering is better?
Australian engineering professional equivalent to blue collar, after graduation has a considerable income, and if the landlord willing to pay time and effort, these two professional are better, and immigration rates are relatively high
Q:Somebody told me that the content put onto discs is pressed not burnt, Is that true.
movie DVDs are made similar to music CDs. they are pressed in a process very similar to how old fashioned LP records were made. that is why commercial discs cost only a few pennies to make and they can be produced in huge quantities in a short period of time. getting a million DVDs to market is an important consideration for motion picture studios that have already invested a huge sum making the show. the price you pay for a DVD movie is almost all profit. and it costs no more to make a Blu-ray version, but people will pay more.
Q:I know it's a word with it's own meaning, but in 'The monkey's paw' story, Herbert (the son) got killed because he was caught in a machinery. So, what is that machinery anyway?
Jacobs never specifies the exact type of machine but we do know that it was a factory machine. You need to recall that this story was written in 1902. Machines and automation were bery new and the masses were unaccustomed to them. Accordingly, the word machinery had an omnious undertone - perfectly suited for use as an instrument of unexpected, early and grizzly death in a horror story.
Q:Why is hydraulic machinery so effective???
very efficent transfer of power
Q:I have never dealt internationally before and am a little leery about doing so. The seller looks legitimate but how can I be sure? Is there a way to check if there were problems with their machines, quality issues, etc?
You could: - Speak to the seller on the phone and ask them some questions. If they are reasonably helpful and knowledgeable then this might provide you with some reassurance. - Search on Google for the company name, or the company name + problems, scam, etc, to see if anyone has reported any problems. If anyone has been ripped off in a big way, there is a good chance their story will be posted somewhere on the internet. - There are specialist internet forums / message boards for all sorts of industries and professions on the internet. Google for them and you may be able to find some specialists who are qualified to give you specific advice or who know about the company in question. - Make a small order first and see if it works out.
