Q:I need to know if the power light on the amp will turn on if I don't have the RCA cables hooked up or if you have to have them hooked up just to get power to the amp? I was just wondering because I just hooked up an amp and I can't get the power to come on, and I'm pretty sure the power, ground, and remote wire is hooked up good, it's the RCA cables i'm thinking is messed up, but would the power light come on even if those wasn't hooked up?
The power light should come on with or without the speaker wires or RCA cables from the stereo, but not all will, this is just a general rule. Double check your power hook up and see if it has power to it. Sometimes a little thing will throw the reset switch on the amp, check that also. This is assuming you have run proper power cables to the amp and have them hooked up to the proper connectors.
Q:I'm only asking this on here out of interest, this is not homework. I want to know how to calculate exact distances between to poles connected at the top by a cable. The length or height of the objects are not important to me, but if you must use an example please do so. So I want to know what formulas to use, what variables in those formulas mean, and how the slope of the cable will affect the distance. For example, if two poles have a distance between them of 0, and the cable extends 100, it would not mean that the drop of the cable (called a catenary?) would be 50, (it's misleading because you would think that since the distance between the two poles is 0, the cable would drop 50 and rise 50. But this is not taking into account the slope it has to take at the bottom of the catenary. It must lose some drop (perhaps to 48 or 49) in order to bend and rise back up...I want this out of my head, it's bugging me that I can't figure it out.
No sign can commute faster than the fee of sunshine (neglecting tachyons, that have in no way been pronounced interior the genuine international, yet in concept can in no way slow all the way down to or commute under the fee of sunshine). The ropes and poles could flex because of the fact the sign traveled alongside them. because of the fact that they'd not flow right this moment, the sign could commute at a speed nicely under c. right that's a version on the pole concept. think you have 2 very long poles crossed at an attitude. The poles are rotating from their crossed orientation to alter into extra parallel. the factor P the place the poles bypass will commute down the poles as they attitude parallel, shifting faster and faster. Can the action of P exceed the fee of sunshine? particular it could! P would not have any actual manifestation and for this reason no mass; for this reason its action isn't constrained with the aid of relativity. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if P did have mass -- as an occasion, if there became a hoop around the crossing factor -- then the poles could be compelled to flex because of the fact the relativistically increasing mass drew further and further ability from them. * To Michael under: Einstein's particular concept of Relativity states that it could consume an limitless quantity of ability to strengthen up any particle with mass to the fee of sunshine. So that is impossible to strengthen up even an electron to the fee of sunshine, regardless of the certainty that scientists can get very very close now. Photons have not have been given any mass so as that they commute on the fee of sunshine and easily on the fee of sunshine (and is the reason why every person measures an identical fee for c). Tachyons have an 'imaginary' mass (a dissimilar of the sq. root of -a million) and so as that they can't commute as slow or slower than mild... merely faster!
Q:I am trying to run the power cable leading to the amplifier in my car but can not seem to find a hole or firewall to pass the wire through. My car is a 91 Toyota Tercel. Please and Thank you
Make a new one. Use a drill bit the same size as the wire. They also sell firewall grommets that will prevent the wire from cutting.
Q:Hi,I have an LED monitor ordered and I wanted to know if it has a power cable. The monitor I ordered is a Samsung S23C350HS 23 Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor. Thank you,
If it's a new monitor then yes normally they would come with a power cable. If it's used then check the description. Some monitors don't come with the PC DVI cable though, some only come with D-SUB. DVI gives a much better picture than D-SUB. You can pick up a DVI cable for about ?5 on OKorder, or if you go to a high street store they're likely to charge about ?50 for the same cable (and they wonder why the high street is dying!)
Q:hi i need some extra help in looking for a power cable for my pioneer kuro tv cable iv looked in OKorder and on pioneer and no joy does anyone have any ideas where i could get one please any help will be gratefully received thank you
It should be one of a couple standard styles. Electronics stores should have them.
Q:Okay after installing Deus Ex on a brand new PS3 slim I pressed the start button and when the screen went black the console hanged, I couldn't even press the PS button, at the suggestion of a friend I yanked the power cable. Now it works fine but I'm wary of putting Deus Ex back in, I doubt that its regioning since there's no such thing. Any ideas and troubleshooting solutions?BTW what are the consequences to yanking the power cable.
If pulling the power cord was the *only* way to turn it off, that's ok, you just don't want to do it frequently. As for the game itself, the only thing I can think of is to make sure other games work. If so, then something about the game itself is causing the fault, but not sure what. If anything, I would say contact Sony for assistance in that regard.
Q:i bought a video card off OKorder and i did everything but i don't know if i connect both of the cables to the power supply...i currently only connected one but do i do both…
If you don't have a six pin PCI-E connector, then chances are your power supply is not power enough for the card but if it is, you connect BOTH of the 4 pin connectors, no just 1
Q:Bought 60 Inch Full HD LED LCD Smart 3D TV by Sony while stationed in Germany. it came with a european a/c socket attached, so currently searching for an American socket replacement however I can't seem to find one with the same specs! Model is KDL60W850B
1- if it is a DVB tv (german system), it will not work in the usausa system ATSC . 2- a power cable is determined by x volts y amperes for example 250v and 10a it means you can use it on 250v maximum .more voltage than that damages its insulation material and 10a current maximum more than that current causes the cable gets hot so risk of fire . 3- fortunately the power supply is SWITCHING MODE. so you can use it on 120v .
Q:I'm gonna be running a 2,700watts RMS system on a Power Acoustik 4,500watt Class D Monoblock amp at 1-ohm. I have a 2005 Impala LS do I'm going to need a secondary battery. What size should it be? Also what size power wire and ground wire should I use? I'm going to be using 8gauge speaker wire. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Q:The question above relates with the Transpose Line. One of the subtopics under Transmission Line Parameters in Power System.
If the adjacent line induces current in a nearby cable that would be a problem. Transposing results in one section having an induced current with a certain phase but the next section (after the transposition) has an induced current with the opposite phase. Over the length off the cable, the opposing induced currents will cancel each other out.
