Q:Make sure you have the extra resistant one, one that can last for a long duration of time.
He may well have arranged with the city, or whoever it is, to do that. They do here, anyway. We're sometimes host to a steam engine rally and the organisers arrange with the water company, whose hydrants they are here at least, for anyone attending with a steam engine to be allowed to couple up to a hydrant to refill their tanks en route. They also allow the water tanker which is kept on site for top-ups and emergencies through sparks and so on to be kept filled. As any money made goes directly to charity the water company do not charge for this. We rely on anyone doing this to be intelligent enough to stop if they hear the fire siren or see the trucks on their way somewhere, and there's never been a problem. The law here states It is illegal to use a fire hydrant to obtain water for purposes other than fire fighting, unless authorised by the water authority or other person to whom the hydrant belongs.
Q:We use about 25 Rubber type material belts at work they run by rollers that leave a natural grey grease all over them. They scrape off by like my fingernail but scrubbing it with a scour pad does no justice. We've tried Bleach (destroys the belts) Mineral Oil, Liquid 30 Bi chloride (has bleach in it.) Something that won't destroy the belts but make the grease come off easy. If we soak them in hot water for long periods of time they shrink. These belts are $70 a piece.
1. I could really care less what my doctor thinks about me personally but it is nice to know that he is using good hygiene!
Q:I just moved into a 1 BR apt. and realized there is no smoke detector. Does the landlord have to provide it?

Q:I try not to, but it's really hard, and I know this sounds strange. When I work in the office, I make myself wear different clothes every day so people don't think I'm weird. But sometimes I work from home, and then I literally sleep in my clothes, sometimes shoes, too, and wear them the next day. I know it's horrible, I do take showers and then put the same clothes back on. I know I can work on it by taking it one day at a time, sometimes I lay out my clothes for the week to prepare. But what could cause this? To me, the same clothes are just comfortable and I hate the feeling of changing since all clothes fit different, even the same t-shirts get stretched out differently and stuff. Does anyone know if this is a sign of something? Oh and I'm not depressed and don't have any other strange problems, really. The only thing is I am very strict about following the same routine every day, eating the same things for every meal, except dinner. Any thought are welcome, thanks.
You can plead not guilty for anything, but you're going to lose this one. Some cities paint hydrants green so they aren't an eyesore. The fact that you didn't see it is of no consequence to the law. IF you chose to fight it, go to court and do it.
Q:I just hired someone only to find someone much more qualified a few days later. There's no way I could have both on staff. Since the position is for an independent contractor with us, I'm under no professional obligation to keep him on staff. On a personal level though, I feel horrible for firing someone after he just started only because I found someone more qualified. To make matters worse, I went to high school with the first guy I hired. We were never friends and I hired him completely based on his experience, but I still feel somewhat obligated to keep him on board. What do you think? This new guy is amazing, has amazing experience and is exactly what I've been looking for to fill this position. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Is there any polite way I could do this? I know I'm horrible, but I have to think of who is going to be better for the business. What do you think? Like I said before, there is absolutely no way to put both on staff.
To magnetize metal all you need is electric current, finding the right voltage, amps and ohms would be the only thing you need to find out. You know like when they make electro-magnets (like the cranes at the junk-yards) . if you ran the current long enough for the molecules in the metal to become polarized it would become a electromagnet. staying polorized would be your problem because you would loose the charge when you switched off the juice because of impurities in the metal. Theorocitally if you ran the current through long enough, they would just stay polorized because they are shocked into place. (ever notice if you hit an iron nail with a hammer it gets magnetized from the shock?) but iron (fe) is easily magnetized from the structure of it's molecules.
Q:I just got a brand new ion from a store on , i hooked it all up and it fired a few times perfectly then all of a sudden it just wouldnt shoot. The power is on, but it just will not fire. I have no idea what to do because im new to the sport so im not very familiar with taking the gun all apart. Everything is brand new so i shouldnt have to replace anything right? Whats going on?
Either the Kindle or the Nook, more likely the Nook. Don't forget about straight Android devices such as the Nexus.
Q:Why did the fire hydrant say "HR"?
Hydrants are mainly fire engines from the municipal water supply network or outdoor fire water supply network to implement fire fighting, but also can directly connect hoses, water cannons, fire extinguishing. Therefore, the outdoor fire hydrant system is also one of the important fire fighting facilities.
Q:I've tried signing up for a lot of those groups that give u fresh ones but my school system blocks a lot of those links too cause they have the word Proxy in the link. But anyway, any fresh new links? :D
Your looking at a felony my freind. No not really, you may face a small charge at worst. Go to court and you can get it dropped.
Q:I want to use resin in some latex molds to make some models, I will use the type of resin sold in car shops, the type that is used for fiberglassing, I am not sure on the type of resin this is, or if they use and sell different types of resin in car repair shops? Also will not this type of resin be clear? If it is transparent, I do not want transparency, what can I do? can you add an oil based paint, or does one add a special product to the resin to make it not clear or a specific color.
Strawman Argument Liberals do not think that if we make 'renewable energy' cars, it will remove the need for petroleum? It WILL, however, reduce the need. Maybe only a little, maybe a lot. Start in one place and move on from there. The petroleum industry shouldn't feel very threatened - as your list shows, there are PLENTY of other needs. It would prevent or reduce carbon dioxide emissions from those petroleum products at least everything I saw on your list isn't meant to be burnt or otherwise chemically changed during consumption so most of those aren't terribly problematic to the atmosphere.
Q:Type three well written paragraphs on how physics is applied in an amusement park. Give specific examples along with the concepts to which they are applied. Be sure to include Force (i.e. Newton s laws, centripetal), Acceleration (i.e. linear centripetal), Velocity, Impulse, Air Resistance, Accuracy vs. Precision, Simple Machines, Rotation vs Revolutions, Projectiles, Energy (kinetic and potential), Work, Power along with any other physics concepts.
There's a tool that fits it but you don't have one. That's the point. Have you ever looked at those tamper-proof screws that hold the walls in public restrooms together? Same thing.
