Bank of America isn't much better. In Florida, all you needed was a tax id number to purchase a home. Many of the loans where obtained by illegals and citizens of foreign countries. When the loans went into default the tax payers are left holding the bag. All banks in the US are corrupt once they reach a certain level of power.

Q:I tried to have a check made out to my husband cashed today. He is depolyed and I have power of attorney. The bank said they are refusing my power of attorney and he would need to be present to cash the check. I advised them he is deployed and they still denied it. I need to cash this since we have no money at the present and it seems to me that power of attorney is the same as having him there. Any ideas on what to do or who to call. It seems you did the right thing talking to FRG, and also another good thing that they referred you to JAG. one thing to check is make sure its not a limited power of attorney. i had the same problem once. I assume its not considering you are married. your next bet is to try a different bank, im pretty sure whoever you talked to at the bank is an idiot let me guess Bank of America?(notorious for being A**holes)

Sure. It means your power supply, the one you have in your hands, has been operated on a load bank that draws the maximum rated power from the supply for a specific amount of time. It is similar to having an automobile engine run on a test stand at maximum design RPM for a specific amount of time. It is a good thing. Typically a sample of the production run is tested, perhaps 1 in 50, this way and all are plugged in for a few moments to make sure they operate and produce acceptable voltages but that test fails to isolate marginal components. The power supply normally won't be operated long enough for the whole power supply to get to full operating temperature. Temperature is what kills electronics. As components get hot their values change. That change is frequently in the direction that allows more current flow. More current means more heat and this vicious circle continues until something smokes and the supply stops working, best case, or it sets something on fire, worst case. The company that built your supply cared enough to test every supply it makes to the same degree as the cheaper companies test sample supplies. You shouldn't have any trouble with a unit tested this way. At least not for a long time. Congratulations, it sounds like you have an eye for the better stuff on the shelf.

Ask him questions centering around the idea of whether it's right for one man to have so much power over other people's finances. Andy lost a lot of money because of the bank, so you could bring up that too. Do a lot about the common man power of the people

I am sorry for your loss. However the bank will not let you withdraw any funds after the death certificate has been issued. If your mothers death has not been certified and you do not have the certificate go to the bank and try to withdraw as much as possible. If the certificate has been issued you are out of luck as the POA expired with her death and you will need to go to the bank with a certified copy of her death certificate, the POA papers and hope they will issue the funds to you at that point. Otherwise you are stuck waiting until probate goes through which can take forever.
