Q:Is lime wire any good????

If your looking for a basic file sharing program Lime wire is a good choice. But be careful! Make sure you have a descent anti-virus program. Also some things that come up when you search for something are not what the title say they are. I found one item that is 1,050 kilobytes that has many different names on it, last I counted it had 23 different names and it is a pain to get rid of and stop. Q:Hey can some1 help me, on my lamp i have a White, a Yellow wire with tints of green in it and a black wire. on my cord that i am going to plug in is a Blue, brown and a yellow wire

Run a continunity check on the cord from the brown and blue wires to the blades on the plug. The brown should go to the wider blade, but could be other way around. Then the yellow wires go together. The one (brown or blue) from the wider blade goes to the black one from the lamp. The other one goes to the white wire.

Q:so i got a few questions. on my 2000 chevy cavalier i got my audio system upgraded but toke it to a shop to get done i am ready to hook up a amp and woof but wanna do it my self to save a few hundred bucks as i was observing my car where to put stuff at i notice a blue wire that is going from where it looks like from my radio to my fuse box on the driver side and is hooked up to a fuse. what is that? and if its the remote wire can i hook up the remote wire for the amp with that blue wire to or is that to much?

The remote wire should be running from your amp, to your radio fuse. Just strip the wire and wrap it around the fuse and place it back in. That is the correct way to hook it up.

Well it depends. If you varry the current the temperature of the wire will also vary. You have to take into account the actual diameter of the wire, the wider the wire, and constant current, the cooler the wire will be when you run electricity through it. If you have a wire with HIGH resistance it will get HOTTER, thats how light bulbs work.

Hookup wire is a term usually reserved for wire sizes smaller than 16 AWG, usually single strand conductor. It is generally used in applications where current-carrying capacity is not of prime importance. Breadboarding is one of these applications, but usually uses 22AWG or smaller wire.

Q:how do I wire the generator so it can spin 360 on the pole with out snapping the wires.... Thanks

You need some ring contacts and brushes that will be touching those rings that will be spinning while the generator does to complete a circuit without twisting wires. Make sure you get the right size rings and wire for the amount of current

Q:Ok, i want to make a flash gun. I made one before with my cousin, but it broke. I remember what i used to make it, and how to make it, i just need the names of the wires and parts i need. How I made it: I had a battery connected to a wire that connected to a tube that had a special wire in there that heated up when i pressed a button. I would put flash paper in there, and a flame would shoot out. I need to know the name of that wire, I also need to know where to put the button on the wire connected to the battery. That okorder The circuit is simple. The parts are the battery, some regular wire, a push-button switch, and the nichrome wire. Connect one end of the short piece of nechrome wire to one end of a wire. Connect that end to one of the battery terminals. Connect a second piece of wire between the other battery terminal and one side of the switch. Connect a third piece of wire from the switch to the other end of the nechrome wire. When the button is pushed, the wire should heat up.

Q:the fused ignition wire and illumination wire, i cant figure out where they go on a Dual stereo system model1225 Help. ( on a 1990 ranger )

the ignition wire is going to be a yellow with a black stripe(car wire) and the instruction manual will tell you for the head unit illumination wire i just taped up since my head unit didnt require it =) like they say...if it turns on it dont need it

Q:Just bought a new amp for my truck. The speaker outputs needs to be indiviually wired to the door speakers. Do you splice into the speaker wire or the trucks harness?

ideally you want to wire directly from the amp to the door speakers with new speaker wire but doing this properly requires removing some of the trimming and passing the new wires throughout the car. you can also take the easier route and pass the wires from your amp up under the steering wheel behind the center console and splice them into the existing wires going to the door speakers. as long as the wattage isn't very high the latter shouldn't be a problem. however, if it were up to me i would use new wires and pass them throughout the car, removing the trimmings, etc. this can be somewhat of a pain to do if you have never done it before though.
