Q:A 67.0- painter is on a uniform 21- scaffold supported from above by ropes. There is a 3.8- pail of paint to one side. The ropes are 1m inside the scaffold on each side. The pail is 1m away from the left rope and 3m from the right rope. The scaffold is a 6m. How close to the right end can he approach safely? How close to the left end can he approach safely?
First of all...no units, no answer. Second of all...according to OSHA (Occupation Safety and Health Administration), NO ONE can walk on a scaffold beam outside the support ropes OR SET ANY OBJECT DOWN outside the support ropes. Hence the answers for both questions are 1 meter. It doesn't matter what a calculation will yield...NO ONE can walk on the beam outside the support ropes safely. Even if a torque balance yields that it will not put the ropes in compression and buckle them...it still isn't considered to be safe by OSHA if the painter is outside the ropes.
Q:I've wanted an industrial/scaffold piercing for ages! My mum is finally looking into letting me have it done. Any advice about it? How can I hide it for school? What's the healing time? :) thank you for any feed back.
Most piercings need 6 months to fully heal. Industrial will take up to a year to do so. You have to keep the jewelry in and do not take it out ( not even once ) for the whole period of 1 year. This means that you can't hide it for school. You can't put a retainer on also, cause only titanium or stainless steel material are proper for an open wound aka a new piercing. This piercing is not easy to heal and can stay irritated for long. It goes through cartilage and you have to be really careful with the aftercare and the piercer's info if you want to keep the piercing and yourself healthy. You have to be careful and not touch it or play with it and twist it or take it out. You clean this piercing with sea salt soaks or non alcohol antibacterial soap 2-3 times a day. You dry it with paper towels. If you can do the above daily and be extra careful go get it done. Gluck
Q:Find the demolishing scheme of scaffold
Removal methodThe development of the demolition plan, the program should include the removal of the steps and methods, safety measures, etc.. Demolition order should be observed from top to bottom, the first after the demolition, after taking the first demolition principle. That is, first remove the railings, scaffolding, scissors support, diagonal bracing, and then small beams, large cross bars, vertical poles, etc., and according to the principle of one step clear in order to be prohibited from top to bottom at the same time the demolition work. Remove the shelf of the high-altitude personnel should wear safety helmet, safety belt, wear soft shoes on the shelf, at the same time, around the railing or set up a warning sign and a special command, in order to avoid casualties.
Q:opinions on scaffolding piercing and how to hide it from school :)?
While they're healing, they need to stay in so there's no way of hiding it. Wait until the beginning of the summer and get it done then
Q:Where to use scaffolding in construction
1, set up a high-level scaffolding, the various materials used must meet the quality requirements.2, the foundation must be firm, before the erection of the calculation, to meet the load requirements, and according to the construction code set up, do drainage measures.3, scaffolding erection technical requirements shall comply with the relevant provisions of the code.4, we must attach great importance to a variety of structural measures: scissors, pull nodes, etc. should be set according to requirements.
Q:what are two burdens for each character? What action does each character indicate that she or he is indeed free from their burdens?
Tell me what you know and I will elaborate. I had to read this book for a class and hated it, but I won't do your homework for you. I will help if you show you read it yourself and put in some effort we can see
Q:What heights do u need a harness for(had to repost as didnt explain correctly in last 1)
That first answer is correct. When I worked as a construction electrician back in the 1980's the OSHA requirements were not so strict, but now the harnesses and tie-offs are required for any work platform over 6' from the ground.
Q:Can you do the outer scaffolding?
The safety net is fixed on the side of the outer vertical rod of the scaffold. (2) the 16# wire safety net, strict and smooth. (3) the outer side of the scaffold shall be provided with a 1.2m high protective railing and a 30cm high skirting bar, and the top row protective railing shall be not less than 2, with a height of 0.6m and 1.2m.
Q:Also what 2 cell populations in the body that don't routinely undergo cell division
The first one is vague. The answer could be the mitotic spindle. It might be kinetochore microtubules. It might be talking about the kinetchores on the chromosomes instead of the microtubules that attach to the kinetochores. It could possibly even be talking about the centromeres, though to me that seems less likely. Neurons in the adult brain (and mature muscle cells?) do not routinely undergo cell division.
Q:So I had a scaffold/industrial done about 10 weeks ago, and its been infected at the top hole only for about 3/4 weeks. It has like a little bubble near the hole and sometimes its filled with pus a little bit and sometimes its not. Well I went the doctors about 2 weeks ago and he prescribed me a weeks worth of antibiotics as well as anti-septic cream. So I took the pills for a week and it was clearing up, I was also applying the cream twice a day. But then yesterday I noticed the lump has gotten a little bit bigger. I don't know what to do, should I take it out? But I really don't want to. And plus the doc said to wait up to 3 weeks and if nothings changed to go back and take it out. If I continue to use the cream, will it eventually go? Thanks :)
If so, its hypertrohic scarring, a common occurence in cartilaginous piercings caused by too much jewelry movement/improperly fitted jewelry. It can be treated by applying tea tree oil to the bump once or twice a day.
