Q:Question:What is the point of new wires? Everyone keeps saying thicker wire. What does that thicker wire do? Does it carry a different force? I thought the ligature bands is what gives the wire the force? I'm kind of confused! Also, do you get a thicker wire everytime? Is this thicker wire visibly thicker and noticable?Does the thicker wire cause a drastic diff in pain?Thank you for your help and answering my question about my previous question.
The wires are memory wires. So over time they move your teeth back to the original U shape the wire was in. The thicker wire corrects your teeth more. You won't always get a thicker wire, but you won't be able to tell just by looking. A thicker wire will hurt more for about three days but then you will get used to it, just like the previous wire they put in.
Q:well i've been asking for quite sometime on the correct wiring of a bathroom fan up to the same circuit as my light in the bathroom but i believe i've figured out. but i have a question now about the wire guage.the wire guage in the house is the standard solid 12 or 14 i think(house built in 50's) and the the wire that came with the bathroom fan looks a little smaller or about same size but it's braided .it should be fine to splice the two right?
The wires for the fan are probably stranded and twisted, or braided, but you certainly can splice them to solid wire using an insulated wire nut. Just make sure when you put the nut on you don't push the stranded wire off the solid wire, which will result in a not so solid and safe connection.
Q:what wires are my speaker wires going to and coming from the factory amp and how do i hook them up please help i drive a 96' ford exploder
aamp of america has a psa interface part# BHA 5511. It works great The other way is to rewire from the psa to the radio. The psa is over the r rr wheel well (a real pain in the butt to get to)
Q:I m wondering if there s a Neutral Wire in this picture (yes I turned off the breaker to get this photo). I want to put in a quot;Smart Light Switchand they require a Neutral Wire. I ll have an electrician do the work, but want to make sure the wire exists first.
The neutral is the white wire on the receptacle.
Q:how do i wire my sensor to my light
Normally it is black wire to black wire, white to white and ground (copper) to ground.
Q:I have a 2004 mit lancer and im trying to instal 2 sets of kicker rs65.2 door speakers having trouble with the back the wires on the right are yellow and one has a red stripe the other has a green stripe and the left speaker is a solid green and blue wire how in the heck am i suppose to match those up with the black and red the right seems obvious but i dont want to mess anything up

Q:But I want to switch it and wire the red ceiling wire to the black fan wire and the black ceiling wire to the black/white fan wire so that the particular switches work the way I want them to. Is this ok, to switch them?
Black wire on the fan is for the fan motor, red wire in the fan is for the light, the white wire is the neutral wire. So if you do want to switch the light off and on you have to tie red wire to the switch and the black wire can be tied to the hot at the ceiling box so you can control the fan with the chain only. If you have one switch leg in your circuit then you cannot do anything but switch them both if you tie them together. I think I am understanding what you are saying here. White Alyse ties to white Black is for the fan motor and the red is for the light. If you have three wires in the switch then you can tie them the same way color to color. Hope this has not confused you You can email me if you need further help
Q:I have a water valve that I need to connect but I don't know how to read this diagram. I'm unsure how to connect the wires to the cold and hot valve. I have four wires that need to be connected. A pair of white caps with one blue wire and one orange; and a pair of black caps with one blue wire and one yellow wire. Sorry if this sounds confusing but I have no idea how to explain it well. Thanks!
blue and yellow for cold valve one, blue and orange for cold valve 2, the hot valve would be blue and brown.
Q:Kind of a confusing question I guess. I want to cut a wire that contains 3 other wires and splice into them then reconnect them. is all I need relatively the same gauge wire or is it potentially different type like some sort of special speaker wire..? Should be one positive one negative and the other some sort of signal for sound. (Microphone to a speaker). All I need is standard copper wire?
Hello Rocky: You need to be more specific. What are you attempting to do? I know you want to splice a three-ply wire, but what is your end purpose?
Q:Is it okay to solder wrapping wire to a mother board, I am just asking because the wires are called WRAPPING.
i think its fine
