- Q:How can we manage power (voltage ) loss in the long distance if elcetricity is fed along with the cable?
- Fiber optical cable and electrical power ? They are not related.
- Q:The power cord will not be inside the wall, it will be through a sheet of drywall then in a closet that is under my stairs, at no time will the power cord be inside of a wall. It will just be behind the wall and in a closet where I will plug it into a surge protector. good to go??
- Unfortunately, it is no longer easy when the walls are already in place. The only other solutions are either to run the cables along the ceiling (above tiles), or else along the bottom of the floor/baseboards. Good luck!
- Q:hi i found out that the cable power that goes from my wall outlet to my wireless router is broken. so i would like to rip some of the plastic and solder and then put some take so the negative and positve wires do not touch. is it safe to do that? thank you. 10 points to the best answer. god bless you.
- safe if you do it correctly but not recommended as there is too much chance for problems that could cause a fire later, if the joint came apart or the tape dried up. .
- Q:What is the concept of power cable middle head? What is the difference between a terminal and a terminal?
- Our teacher wants us to do the thermometer, but I do not know what to do. The What materials should I use? The Whether my straw is now pressed and deformed, and adjust the water level, so that the water level is slightly higher than the bottle, with oil pen in the straw
- Q:i wanna know how much distance should be in between the power cable and the cat5 cable
- standard used to be 185 feet somewher 100 meter ,I am not sure what you mean by to power ......
- Q:I'm installing a new hard drive and I need an extra power cable. Thing is, I've only got one in my computer (15 pin SATA) I have a spare SATA port for the data, so that's not a problem. Anyone know of any multipliers or some way i can add an extra power cable? Thanks in advance
- Yes, okorder
- Q:I bought this graphics card tonight, and went to install it on my new Dell PC and while the card itself is powered by a 6-pin, I don't have one on my power supply. Is there an adapter I can use? Or will I have to go buy a new power supply for a NEW computer..?
- Depends - what are your system specs? Impossible for people to help you when we don't even know what hardware you're running. Don't ruin your new graphics card by putting it ; 1. On a power supply without enough wattage to handle it, and 2. On a power supply that didn't come with cables for a graphics card. Chances are you should invest in a bigger power supply. I would recommend at least 550w for a GTX550Ti. I recommend Corsair and XFX power supplies, as well as Seasonic.
- Q:i have a 2001 corolla with a new amplifier. when they wanted to test the amp after all wiring was done, they somehow wired the amps power cable to my negative connection on the battery. i turned on the electrics on the car and they all work. then i tried starting it, and how the engine wont start and the lights dim when im turning the key. what happened? and how can i fix this major screw up???
- If the electronics work, then it's not the battery, Hooking up the power wire the ground does nothing, there isn't a circuit to complete, without power. Even the remote turn wire, having power, would either put the amp into protection, or pop the fuses...Does it try to turn over? or if not, does it have a starter solenoid?
- Q:I blew 2 fuses in my amp in my car, i have replaced them both, one was a 30amp and the other a 20. The 30 amp was an inline fuse from the battery to the amp and the 20 amp was a standard 20 amp fuse in the amp. As i said i replaced both fuses and try the amp again and it wouldnt go. There is a LED light on the top just lighting up a logo, when i attatch the power from the battery the light goes off and when i disconnect it the light comes on. When i dissconect the power the red light for diagnose comes on.
- This sounds like a wiring problem i reccomend you completly inspect all wiring to your amp if looks fine then use a test light and test all the wiring if all passes then your problem is within the amp itself. test the remote wire with stereo to car on if wired that way.
- Q:Is it? I leave the power cable for hours when at home, when letting it process video and such and sometimes drain the battery when not used much. Thanks for any help.
- When I first bought my laptop I tried to research this. Keep the battery in and keep the ac adapter hooked up. Use the ac adapter and take the battery out. Just charge with the ac adapter and run off the battery when fully charged. Everybody had an opinion on what to do. The confusing thing is that they all made sense. So I decided to stop driving myself nuts. I leave the battery in. The ac adapter is always hooked up. I leave my laptop on pretty much 24/7 and have done so for over a year now. Once a month as part of my maintenance I unplug the ac adapter and let the battery run down till the warning pops up. Plug it back in and do the same next month. I keep track of how long the battery lasts without the ac adapter on. It always charges back to 100% and if the life is decreasing it is so minimal that I am not noticing. Is this right or wrong? Depends on who you ask. Hope this helps. Good Luck.
