- Q:So I have a ordinary pc with a 500gb seagate hardrive in...and I have another seagate hardrive I want to put in (also 500gb) but do I need the sata power cable since it is not the main hardrive or can I only insert the Data cable for the harddrive since I didn't get any cables with my hardrive do I need need both cables, the Data and power cables or can only use the data cable ?
- You always need a power cable as well. The power cables are part of your computer's power supply unit and are never being shipped with harddrives.

- Its on your motherboard factory web site. usually there is a 4 or 8 pin for the mobo PCI bridge, sata, pata, power connectors for drives. smaller for floppy, blue wire for PSU fan speed report. just find out what FORM you need, most are ATX.

- Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. Install it, hit run and problem solved. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes.

- I have a 2003 Civic EX and simply created a hole in the boot that has some large cable going through it right below the Glove box. I have no leaks I too have 4 ga size wire. Good luck.
- Q:Hi, Whether it will causes any problem the power and speaker in a same path? I dont have a separate path for speakers to mount it in wall. I plan to use the existing path which is used for other electrical items. If i use the same path for electrical wire and speaker wire, it will damage the speaker or will make any short circuit in the electrical line?Thank you.
- It should be fine as long as you do not tie wrap the speaker wire directly to the power wiring. Speaker wiring is pretty immune to interference except for in extreme cases. Just run it as far from the power as you can.

- It's called a choke. It's used to filter out unwanted radio interference.
