General Instructions for Use
SAG 638 antifoam emulsion can provide excellent performance as a defoamer as well as an antifoam agent. Therefore, it is recommended that SAG 638 antifoam emulsion be added to the aqueous system before the foaming process
starts.
Generally, only a very low concentration of 50 - 100 ppm or 0.05 - 0.1 g/L of SAG 638 antifoam emulsion is necessary to suppress foam. However, the optimum level is really dependent upon many factors such as temperature, bath composition,
viscosity or agitation of the foaming system.
Use SAG 638 antifoam emulsion as received or dilute first with water.
Mix the antifoam well before use.
Dilution: Mix 3 to 10 parts of water to 1 part antifoam emulsion and stir gently until a uniform mixture is obtained. For a long-
term bulk stability of the dilution, thickener and biocides need to be added.

- I believe it is a whole blood tube and has a K2 EDTA additive. I have never seen a pink top, I'm a lavender top user, but they have pick tops on the BD website.

- Additive color mixing refers to light. Subtractive color mixing refers to pigments (paints). When different colors of light merge, the result is a mixture of those colors. If you shine a red light, a green light, and a blue light into your eye simultaneously, you perceive that as white light. Pigments work by subtracting color from the light they reflect. For example, red paint absorbs every color of the visible spectrum EXCEPT red. Mixing pigments therefore has the result of subtracting various colors from the light that falls on them. - if you want a good cheap oil use shell rotella 5w40. do not use a 0w weight oil. thicker better. 5w40 is usually not too thick of an oil, but do not use thicker then this.
