Packaging & Delivery of Hot Rolled Angle Steel

1. Transportation: the goods are delivered by truck from mill to loading port, the maximum quantity can be loaded is around 40MTs by each truck. If the order quantity cannot reach the full truck loaded, the transportation cost per ton will be little higher than full load.

2. With bundles and load in 20 feet/40 feet container, or by bulk cargo, also we could do as customer's request.

3. Marks:

Color mark: There will be color marking on both end of the bundle for the cargo delivered by bulk vessel. That makes it easily to distinguish at the destination port.

Tag mark: There will be tag mark tied up on the bundles. The information usually including supplier logo and name, product name, made in China, shipping marks and other information request by the customer.

If loading by container the marking is not needed, but we will prepare it as customer request.

Q:Can steel H-beams be used in underground or foundation construction?
Yes, steel H-beams can be used in underground or foundation construction. They are commonly used as structural elements in construction due to their high strength and durability. Steel H-beams provide excellent load-bearing capabilities, making them suitable for supporting heavy loads in underground structures or as foundational supports.
Q:What are the common design mistakes to avoid when using steel H-beams?
Some common design mistakes to avoid when using steel H-beams include inadequate or incorrect calculations of load capacities, improper connection details or welding techniques, insufficient bracing or support systems, and ignoring deflection or vibration concerns. It is crucial to ensure proper engineering analysis and design considerations are taken into account to ensure the safe and efficient use of steel H-beams in structural applications.
Q:248 H steel GB thickness?
GB H type steel: narrow flange HN250 * 125 models, 248 x 124 x 5 x 8 - 3289mm, cross-sectional area, weight 25.8kg/m.
Q:Are Steel H-Beams suitable for theater or performing arts center construction?
Yes, Steel H-Beams are suitable for theater or performing arts center construction. Steel H-Beams are commonly used in the construction industry due to their strength and durability. They provide excellent support and structural integrity, making them ideal for large-scale projects like theaters or performing arts centers. The H-Beam's shape allows it to distribute weight evenly, minimizing the risk of structural failure. Additionally, steel is fire-resistant, which is crucial for buildings where large crowds gather. Moreover, steel H-Beams can be easily fabricated and installed, making the construction process more efficient. Overall, steel H-Beams offer the necessary strength and stability required for theater or performing arts center construction.
Q:Can steel H-beams be used in wastewater treatment plant construction?
Yes, steel H-beams can be used in wastewater treatment plant construction. They are commonly used in the construction of structural elements due to their strength and durability. Steel H-beams provide excellent support and stability, making them suitable for the demanding conditions found in wastewater treatment plants.
Q:Can steel H-beams be used in utility infrastructure projects?
Yes, steel H-beams can be used in utility infrastructure projects. They are commonly used in bridges, buildings, and other structures due to their strength, durability, and ability to support heavy loads. In utility projects, H-beams can be utilized for constructing support structures, such as transmission towers or substations, where strength and stability are crucial.
Q:How do you calculate the section modulus of steel H-beams?
In order to calculate the section modulus of steel H-beams, one must have knowledge of the moment of inertia of the beam's cross-sectional shape. The section modulus serves as a geometric attribute that gauges the beam's ability to resist bending. It is determined by dividing the moment of inertia by the distance between the neutral axis and the furthest point on the cross-section of the beam. To calculate the section modulus of steel H-beams, follow these steps: 1. Establish the moment of inertia (I): The moment of inertia indicates how the area of the cross-section is distributed around the neutral axis. It can be computed using standard formulas or obtained from engineering tables specific to H-beams. The moment of inertia will differ depending on the size and shape of the H-beam. 2. Determine the distance to the furthest point (c): Measure the distance from the neutral axis to the furthest point on the cross-section. Typically, this distance is equal to half the height of the H-beam. 3. Compute the section modulus (Z): Divide the moment of inertia (I) by the distance to the furthest point (c). The resulting value represents the section modulus. Section Modulus (Z) = Moment of Inertia (I) / Distance to furthest point (c) The section modulus is normally expressed in cubic inches or cubic millimeters, depending on the unit system in use. It signifies the beam's resistance to bending and can be utilized to determine the beam's strength and deflection under different loading conditions. It's crucial to note that the section modulus is a characteristic specific to the cross-sectional shape of the beam. It is employed in structural engineering calculations for the design and analysis of steel H-beams in various applications.
Q:Can steel H-beams be used in seismic-resistant construction?
Yes, steel H-beams can be used in seismic-resistant construction. Steel H-beams are commonly used in earthquake-resistant structures due to their high strength and ductility. Their rigid structure helps withstand seismic forces, and they can be designed to provide the necessary stiffness and flexibility required to resist intense shaking during earthquakes. Additionally, steel H-beams can be easily fabricated and connected, making them a popular choice for seismic-resistant construction.
Q:Can steel H-beams be used for museums or cultural centers?
Yes, steel H-beams can certainly be used for museums or cultural centers. Steel H-beams have been widely used in construction projects, including the building of museums and cultural centers, due to their structural strength and versatility. These beams are capable of providing the necessary support for large open spaces and can be used to create unique and visually appealing architectural designs. Additionally, steel H-beams are durable and resistant to environmental factors, making them suitable for long-term use in museums and cultural centers.
Q:How do steel H-beams perform in areas with high levels of humidity or moisture?
Steel H-beams perform well in areas with high levels of humidity or moisture due to their corrosion-resistant properties. The steel used in H-beams is typically coated with protective finishes, such as galvanization or epoxy coatings, which prevent rust and corrosion. This ensures the structural integrity of the beams, even in environments prone to moisture or humidity.
