High thickening effect

● HEC provides excellent coating performance for the latex coating, especially the high PVC coating. There is no flocculation when the paint is thick paste.

●HEC has a higher effect of thickening, can reduce the dosage to improve the economic effectiveness of formulation, while improving the washability of the coating.

Excellent rheological properties

● HEC’s aqueous solution is non-Newtonian system, the performance of the solution called thixotropy.
● In the stationary state, the product is completely dissolved, the best coating system to maintain shape and cans thickening state.
● In the tilting state, the system will maintain moderate viscosity, make the product equipped with excellent liquidity, and will not splash.

Application in oilfield cementing and oil drilling industries

● HEC thickening agent can be used as thickner of the well workover fluid and cementing agent. Help to provide clarification of the low fixed content solution, thus greatly reducing the structural damage to the wells. The liquid thickening by Hydroxyethyl Cellulose can be easily decomposed by acids, enzymes or oxidants, greatly improving the ability to recover hydrocarbons.

They are all pretty much the same. Doesn't matter what brand you get. Just like gas, 15 different brands, but they all pretty much sell the same thing. If you want to save money, I buy my additive by the gallon, at truck stops. It is a fuel system cleaner that treats diesel and gas engines. It cost about $28. Cleans injector, carbureators, fuel induction, pistons, valves, etc. 1 gallon treats something like 400 gallons. It is kind of thick. So I just give it a quick sploosh into the gas filler neck each time I change the oil. The only exception to this, is I have had good luck with chevron/techron fuel system cleaner. Kind of pricy $8 only treats 10 gallons. But has worked wonders on both of my Cadillacs. I was reluctant, but word of mouth was the deciding factor.

If by 100% acetone you mean, using a small amount of 100% acetone in the fuel as additive then. the only thing noticeable is that lower end torque improved due to better atomization caused by the acetone. other than that no fuel saving to report. My truck damaged 2 Fuel injectors, IDK if it had anything to do with the acetone, the moth balls I dumped in the fuel tank(don't do it) or if it was coincidence. The engine computer(ECU) is programmed to keep the air to fuel ratio as close to 14.7:1 as possible. this is for emission purposes only. that is not the best performance ratio of efficiency you will get out of your car. anything you do will be picked up by the ECU, and it will recalibrate itself to keep that A/F ratio untouched. if you get greedy and throw any of the sensors reading too far out of tolerance then the ECU will turn the check engine light and will begin to run rich as a default programing in the ECU. there are subtle things you can do to improve fuel efficiency. unless you reflash/ remap(chipped) your ECU for fuel efficiency you are limited to small gains if any unless you start making weight reduction, regearing of the transmission and differential or aerodynamic enhancements to the vehicles body. Most asphalt additives are added at the plant where the paving materials are mixed. Otherwise you are dealing with a surface applied sealer. There are numerous additives for asphalt and each has a different issue they are improving. The specific additive they have suggested will have literature available that will cover the dosage, application, condition requirements, issues it proposes to resolve and if it increases the time before it needs to be resealed the literature will provide their claims. The paving contractor should provide the product literature for your review and comments. It is entirely possible an additive is available and probably there are many on the market. Review the product literature and make a decision based on the added cost and the value received. Sometimes surface sealers are applied as much for their appearance as their protection of the asphalt from oils etc. Once you start the sealer applications you will have to continue them periodically due to the surface wearing in the traveled portion of the drive.
