- Q:So I was eating GoGurt yogurt. And I think I accidentally swallowed a part or the jagged part on the top of the tube. I don't think it was very big. I'm guessing the size was the size of half of a dime or a 1/4 of a dime. I know this doesn't sound too bad, since I've heard people who swallowed pennies, then they were fine, but I don't know how to get rid of it. I can still breathe and drink normally, but when I talk for too long, my throat starts to hurt a little. So far, I've tried drinking lots of water, swallowing some food to push it down (rice. :D), coughing, vomiting, and clearing my throat but I think it's still there. I'm actually not sure if it's still there or if it is gone, or just made a cut so it hurts. But I don't want to go to the doctors or ER, I'm poor. Are there any other ways to get the plastic out? Oh and if I leave it there, how long will it take for it to go down my throat and digest?
