Barbed Wire (Galvanized and PVC Coated)

Q:I am making a lamp shade that calls for bonsai wire. How is bonsai wire different from regular wire and what would be a good substitute for it????
Aluminum or copper are the best choices. Avoid iron or steel as they can react with the sap and harm the tree, especially a juniper. bonsai is a copper coated aluminum. Aluminum is more mallable, copper is stronger, with strength you can go thinner, but thin is harder on the tree.
Q:In the picture there is a blue wire that is loose, also i just had the starter and wiring changed a month a go. Thanks.
The blue wire I see is attached to the Oxygen sensor (O2). If that is loose there must be a plug where it goes. That is not shown in your picture. If you're saying the car won't crank (different from will crank but still not start) what is the wire with the blue cap that disappears behind the exhaust manifold? Here's how starters are wired: The BIG red wire comes directly from the battery to the solenoid. Also going to the solenoid is/are (a) control wire(s). Typically there's only one control wire. When you turn the key you energize the control wire. That in turn pulls the solenoid in sending the starter gear into the ring gear on the flywheel. The solenoid also makes contact between the BIG red wire and the actual starter motor itself supplying power to the motor and starts spinning the engine. Older model cars have the second wire going to the solenoid do so to supply unresisted 12 volts to the ignition coil. With computer managed engines this is not necessary, the computer does the work. Hope this clears up some issues for you. Ava g'day mate. )
Q:I am installing an amp in my '04 Chevy crew cab truck and am running new wire for the speakers. I was able to get the fronts wired but when I broke into the back doors there is a feedthrough connector where I need to put the wires through. I am sure this connector contains the wires for my windows, door lights and the current speaker wires. My question is how do I get my new 18 gauge wires through to the speakers, am I missing something? Thanks in advance!!
You can do a couple things, fish a stiffer wire through with your wire taped securely to it or , i hate to say this but you could tape two wires( your speaker wire, and a replacement wire) and cut one , and pull the two thru taped to the cut one. then reattach the cut ones ends to the replacement.Thats provided the one u might cut can move freely back and fourth.
Q:I have a 1996 Cadillac Deville Sedan, and I bought a female wiring harness for it off of the internet. The Factory Wires doesn't include pink, but yet all the wiring codes say pink...the adapter I bought matches up to the Head Unit I want to replace the factory with, but when i put the battery back on and everything it doesn't turn on, I need to know how to wire this thing correctly, and if I bought the wrong adapter or not...Thank You.
Here is the original factory stereo dash wiring harness info this way you can use the new aftermarket wiring info and simply connect up the right ones to each other or at least figure out your problem. Q:i want technical names of the electrical equipments rheostat, wire wound

Q:I am planning to wire my single sub 400rms svc to my amplifier 400rms x 1 @4 ohms. My car model is 94 mitsubishi lancer. how many AWG ( gauge) should I use? Like for Power, ground, speaker wire. I just want to have the full potential of my sub and ampli. For my 2nd question: if I decided to put a 2nd sub wired it on the same amp making it 800rms x1 @ 2 ohms. (my amplifier is a class d mono 1600 watt peak by the way) should I need to use a capacitor?Thank you
Well a capacitor is always desired for me...even if not to help the amp...it also helps your alternator/battery. Most class D amps can handle 2 ohm mono...actually most of them can handle 1 ohm mono...as for wiring. It depends on how many amps your amplifier's fuses are. If your amp is drawing more than 50 amps I'd say 6G or thicker. less than 50amps then 8G is plenty. The wattage the amp says it puts out is misleading...the fuses on the side of the amp tell the whole story. 12g speaker wire should take care of you as well. If the amp were on the larger side (requiring 6G wire or thicker) then 8G speaker wire would be a good idea.
Q:my speaker makes a fuzzy or static noise while the scene has high or low sound. I cut my wire in half because I bought a subwoofer and we didn't get the wires with it. So I cut it. After all I didn't need the wire for the subwoofer. Could my speakers make such noises because of cutting a wire?
Shortening your speaker wire will not cause this problem. In fact, shortening your speaker wires should give you less static since there is less resistance. Most than likely, it's not your speakers causing the static sound, but your amplifier or receiver. You may be looking for a new one soon.
Q:I'm doin this thing where I need to connect some wires and one part uses Apple iPod headphones. Inside those wires, they have insulation. I burnt the wires so the insulation would not be in the way. Will the wires still conduct the electricity? Or will I just need to find some other headphones without insulation to do this with?
The undertaking of the conductors interior the cable won't regulate, however the insulation would burn and allow the conductors to the touch, making a short circuit. this could circumvent the I Pod working and would harm the output amplifier.
Q:1 green wire, 1 black with red stripe wire
For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/awI5v try looking on the box the signal is coming from to see if it states it there, black is usually negative and red is positive but could differ if you simply reversed it at the source. if you are using RCAs, then it has been done for you and you do not have to worry about polarity. hooking up speakers backwards do not harm it, it just starts it out of sync. when speakers play, they either start from going out to in or in to out (the vibrations from the cone). as long as all the speakers in the system are doing the same thing, you will not hear a difference. if it sounds funny, reverse the wires. speakers use AC electricity so there is not much consequence for wiring it in reverse. DC electricity (like a battery) is picky (via the flash or spark if wires are in incorrectly). thayt is also why on some devices that use outlets do not care which way they are plugged in since it is AC. hope this kind of helps. try to find directions for your particular home reciever if all else fails or try to look the company up and call them directly to see if they can help.
Q:I Have a 02 Dodge ram with the 5.9L engine and i purchased a O2 simulator because i wanted to remove the cats. what i need to know is which wire is the Signal, 12 volt, and the ground wire on the oxygen sensor. If anyone has any idea please share some info.
The wires should be color coated. Usually if it is a 4 wire o2 there are two white wires and two black wires and the blacks are both grounds. Same should go with the 2 wire o2 the black is usually the ground and the wite is the 12v wire.
