Description for High Alumina Fire Brick:

CNBM High Alumina Fire Brick are classified according to alumina content ranging from 48% to 90%. The kiln shell is made from rolled mild steel plate, usually between 15 and 30 mm thick, welded to form a cylinder which may be up to 230 m in length and up to 6 m in diameter. This will be usually situated on an east/west axis to prevent eddy currents.

Upper limits on diameter are set by the tendency of the shell to deform under its own weight to an oval cross section, with consequent flexure during rotation. Length is not necessarily limited, but it becomes difficult to cope with changes in length on heating and cooling (typically around 0.1 to 0.5% of the length) if the kiln is very long.

Product Applications:

CNBM High Alumina Fire Brick are commonly used in blast furnace, hot blast furnace, the roof of electric furnace, teeming ladle, rotary kiln, regenerator, etc.

Product Advantages:

CNBM conforms strictly to the requirements of ISO 9000 quality control system during the production. MSDS is also available if you want. The thermal insulation fire clay brick meet with the requirements of ASTM & JIS standards. So pls stay cool with our quality.

Main Product Features:

Low thermal conductivity

Excellent acid and base slaging resistance

High refractoriness

Excellent thermal shock resistance

Excellent mechanical strength

Good spalling resistance and wear resistance.

Good corrosion resistance.

Q:High alumina brick 80 with which high aluminum cement?
In order to maintain a reasonable comprehensive lining, should adopt high quality aluminum refractory mud, such as Sichuan resistance card phosphate refractory mud, refractory clay, high alumina refractory mud PA-80 LN-75, if you use the card volume of Sichuan resistant refractory clay masonry, the effect is better.
Q:How to test the aluminium bricks of high alumina refractory bricks?
Forming high alumina brick will be tested on some professional equipment, it is suggested that you can go to the professional testing department to know about it!
Q:What does refractory consist of?
According to the chemical characteristics of refractory raw materials can be divided into acidic refractory materials, such as silica, zircon etc.; neutral refractory raw material, such as corundum, bauxite, mullite (acidic) (acidic), Ge (alkaline) iron and graphite; alkaline refractory materials, such as magnesite, dolomite, magnesium sand calcium sand.
Q:What is the difference between high alumina brick and clay brick?
Lightweight high alumina bricks are usually made of high alumina bauxite clinker with a small amount of clay. After grinding, the bricks are poured and shaped in the form of slurry by gas or foam method. They are fired at 1300~1500 DEG C. Sometimes industrial alumina can be used instead of some bauxite clinker. Used for lining and insulation of masonry kilns, as well as for areas where there is no strong, high temperature molten material erosion and erosion. When contacting the flame directly, the surface contact temperature shall not be higher than 1350 degrees centigrade.
Q:The difference between clay bricks and clay bricks
Sintering bricks do not have clay bricks, so sintering bricks are made of stone. Clay brick is clay cooking, two yo, qualitative difference, but the appearance and color almost, but the quality is very different, life expectancy is also a great gap.
Q:What is the apparent porosity of high alumina brick?
In the production of high alumina bricks in addition to the entity, there are many different sizes and shapes of different pores, pores can be divided into three categories: one side closed the other side and the outside world is called open pores, closed in the product not communicated with the outside is called closed pores, penetrating through pores called the few products.
Q:Is glass wool inorganic thermal insulation material?
The use of glass wool, glass wool is usually used as raw materials of various types of insulation materials, such as glass wool board, glass wool, glass wool, glass wool pipe, can be used in the following areas:1) roof insulation, cold protection, sound-absorbing materials; 2) building exterior wall insulation and cold protection; 3) entertainment places, theaters, television stations, radio stations, laboratories, sound absorption treatment.
Q:The difference between aluminium refractory and magnesia refractory
Aluminum refractory belongs to neutral refractory material, usually refers to silicon aluminum refractory materials, such as: high alumina brick, clay brick, high alumina castable and other products, the production of raw materials is mainly bauxite.
Q:What should be used as binder for making high alumina bricks?
Bond for making high alumina brick: soft clay has good plasticity, so the high alumina brick is usually made of soft clay as bond. However, the free Al2O3 free SiO2 and bauxite clinker clay in under 1200 degrees occurred two times of Mullization reaction, generate large volume expansion, silicon porosity, strength reduction. Therefore, the amount of clay powder in the ingredient should be no more than 5%.
Q:What causes breakage of refractory bricks?
There are many factors that lead to the damage of refractory brick, can be divided into: the chemical loss (e.g. salt penetration, redox phenomenon), heat loss (burning, thermal shock), mechanical loss (kiln deformation, thrust, brick masonry quality etc.).
