Q:Beginning in the 1300s, Europeans overturned many of the structures and idea of the Middle Ages. How did the printing press contribute to this revolution?
Start at 19:14 for the second one, unless you want to get an education.
Q:I want to start dumbbell chest press to expand my chest and muscles. I'm a begginer and doing this first time. I'm 32 year male with 140lb weight. Can anybody help me to find out what size (meant weight in lb) I have to start with? And as a begginer how many repetations per day I have to start with?
That guys an idiot. 30 lb dumbells are way too much to start with at 140 lbs bodyweight. This aint the movies. Just get a couple handles and some plates, so you can adjust as needed. For curls, just start with like 8 or 10 lbs or whatever you can do cleanly for ten reps. In a few months you'll be up to 30s, but yeah start light.
Q:pressing on we're pressing on pressing on we're pressing on pressing on oh yes we're pressing on pressing on we're
This is the only song by a Christian band that I know that is close to that. I hope I've helped. Relient K Pressing On I think we're going somewhere. We're on to something good here. Out of mind, out of state. Trying to keep my head on straight. I think we're going somewhere. We're on to something good here. There's only one thing left to do. Drop all I have and go with you. [Chorus:] Somewhere back there I left my worries all behind. My problems fell out of the back of my mind. We're going and I'm never knowing (never knowing) where we're going. To go back to where I was would just be wrong. I'm pressing on. Pressing on, all my distress is going, going, gone. (pressing on, pressing on) And I won't sit back, and take this anymore. 'Cause I'm done with that, I've got one foot out the door. And to go back where I was would just be wrong I'm pressing on. I think we're going somewhere. We're on to something good here. Out of mind, out of state. Trying to keep my head on straight. I think we're going somewhere. We're on to something good here. Adversity, we get around it. Searched for joy, in you I found it. You look down on me, but you don't look down on me at all. You smile and laugh, and I feel the love you have for me. I think we're going somewhere. We're on to something good here, and we're gonna make it after all.
Q:Ok, I read a lot about the scarf and now I?m going to buy mine from J press in NY but I wanted to know if anyone have this last version worth 250$ from 2009 collection. For what I know there?s:1- the first version wool/silk2 -second version silk only from 20083 -2009 winter version silk only
J Press Scarf Chuck Bass
Q:I'm a freelance photographer and investigative reporter and I want to get a press pass. Where do I get one??
The process might depend on where you live - if you need a working press pass to get past police lines, you will need a pass issued by the Police Department of your state (this might require proof that you are with a reputable paper and samples of your work). Also, try the Associated Press and if there is a number you can call for customer relations, ask how you can obtain one. And hey - your editor-in-chief should have one, so ask them if they can recommend a source where they obtained theirs. It's all about networking and learning who issues what in your state.
Q:When making French press coffee: What grind of coffee? What kind? Light or dark roast?
The most IMPORTANT thing to know regarding coffee made in a French press: you need LARGE particles of a uniform size for your coffee to turn out right. A high-quality grinder is your best bet--you can get the beans ground at the shop, or buy whole beans and grind them yourself. Smaller coffee particles lead to more dust, foam in the coffee and sludge in the bottom of your cup. Try to only grind as much as you can use in 2-3 days. I grind my coffee every day, use it and then grind more as needed. I have a French press, though do not use it every single day. I enjoy the flavor of the coffee, and sometimes will make a pot if it is to be enjoyed with the meal, such as brunch, but during the busy week, a coffee-maker with a timer is what I use most often. (With beans ground as I set the pot up the night before.) I often make coffee throughout the day if I am home, and use the French press then.
Q:I'm a high school gymnast and I compete all around. For rings, p-bars, and floor, I need to learn a handstand press. Besides working core, back, and shoulders, what exercises can help me work on them? I've been practicing for a while (doing them with a spot, against a wall) but I can't get them. Any ideas? Or websites with good exercises/tutorials?
This hapens to be the exaat situation i am in and have improved greatly by doing it off a crashmat hands on the floor feet on the mat
Q:i'm 16 male, i play basketball and run each day...what is considered a lot of weight to do sitting leg presses with? a can do 330 pounds, 5 repsis that a decent amount of weight?
Nope, that's crap. And you probably have like a 2 inch range of motion. Edit: LOL AT DAVIDV. Omg. Some of you top contributors are seriously ridiculous. Muscle only starts tearing after eight reps? What if you do each rep so slow it lasts 20 seconds? Will the muscle go oh crap you did seven reps, I'm sure as hell not going to break down now. Dude, that's such nonsense.
Q:i see people doing an incline and some lying flat on theri back doing a flat bench press. does it excerise different muslcles or just works the same and its just for comfort? and what the difference also on the bench press machine where the stack of weights are behind your head?
the two positions work different areas of you chest, flat works the middle and incline works the upper parts, you got more than one 'chest muscle' and they need to be isolated in the work-out to get the best results.incline for upper, decline for lower and flat for the middle
Q:Okay so I want to get a new foundation, I don't want a liquid foundation because I am afraid it will look to fake looking lol. Anyway I have combination skin, and I want a pressed powder foundation that has coverage, stays on long, and looks natural. Oh and I get dark circles so can you also recommend a good conclear to go under. Oh and any price range is fine. Thanks!
Concealer: Prescriptives Flawless Skin which is available at their website again. It covers everything from under eye circles to huge blemishes, birthmarks, scarring, redness etc without creasing. it's oil free, long lasting and suits all skintypes especially sensitive. Pressed powder foundation: Youngblood Minerals pressed mineral foundation. It's matte and controls oil pretty well on it's own. Has light to full buildable coverage that looks/feels very natural, never flakey or cakey, never streaky, never broken me out. I set it with either jurlique rose/citrus or youngblood minerals rice mineral pressed powder, coverfx oil absorbing matte fx , origins silk screen, tarte micronized finishing powder etc depending what I have around atm. I also use Boscia Oil Free Daily Hydration spf15 + Skindinavia No More Shine to ensure that I remain matte all day no matter how hot/humid. This works but isn't overdrying.
